Meet Frankie! 🐾

This tiny little Italian Greyhound came in for his vaccination and was quite possibly the cutest little patient we’ve had in our hands! 🥹

Frankie was so teeny, he practically fit in the palm of our hands. 🥰

Safe to say, we were all a little bit obsessed! 💚

Congratulations to Natasha! Tash received the award for ‘2026 Nurse Mentor of the Year’. We are incredibly proud of her for this well deserved achievement. She is an integral part of Greencross Caloundra and the team would be lost without her!

Bird flu is making headlines, so Better Homes & Gardens asked Greencross Vets what it means for our pets.

Greencross Vets veterinarian Dr Nina shares practical advice to help pet parents understand the risks and take simple precautions.

“Bird flu can infect all mammals, so dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets can all be infected.”

From avoiding contact with sick or dead wildlife to keeping cats indoors and dogs on a leash around wildlife, a few simple steps can help reduce exposure.

The best things really do come in pairs! From matching outfits to matching dental procedures Ace and Zero went through it all together. 🐾🥺

Ziggy came in for his castrate last week! 🐶💙 He was just too cute to resist, so naturally, he spent most of the day getting cuddles from the team! 🥰

🖤 A majestic visitor who never should have needed a trip to the vet.

This beautiful black swan was found with a fishing hook stuck in its mouth - a painful and completely preventable injury caused by discarded fishing gear.

Removing the hook required a general anaesthetic, along with pain relief to keep this feathered patient comfortable while we treated them. 🦢

A reminder to all anglers: please take your fishing line, hooks and tackle home with you or use a designated disposal bin. The Victorian Fisheries Authority advises that old fishing line should be placed in bins, or if there are no bins available, taken home, cut up and disposed of in general waste. Their Seal the Loop program also provides dedicated bins for unwanted fishing line, hooks, netting and rope. (VFA)

Discarded fishing gear can cause entanglement, injury and even death to wildlife. A few extra seconds to dispose of your gear properly can make a huge difference. 💔

🎣 Fish responsibly. Dispose responsibly. Protect our wildlife. A big thanks for the wildlife careers for bringing this amazing swan in and thanks to our team for helping 🫶🏼

Pepsi is in her 🌟 Brave Girl Era 🌟

She was so brave after her desexing procedure recently that she received a hand drawn Bravery Certificate! Here she is pictured with Nurse Caitie having some post surgery cuddles 🥰

🐾✨ Stella’s surgery success! ✨🐾

Sweet 11-year-old Stella recently underwent an emergency cystotomy with us to remove bladder stones. 🩺💗

After her procedure and a little time to recover, Stella is now doing amazingly well so far and almost back to being her happy self! 🥰🐶

We’re so pleased to see this beautiful girl feeling comfortable and healthy again. 💕

🐾✨ Say hello to lovely Lucy! ✨🐾

This sweet Whippet x Italian Greyhound came in today and definitely made her presence known—with the cutest little chatter you’ve ever heard! 🗣️💕

Lucy had plenty to say during her visit, and we were all ears. Whether she was asking for more pats, treats, or just giving her opinion on clinic life, she kept us entertained the whole time! 😄

With her long legs, expressive eyes, and big personality, Lucy was an absolute star—and a perfect reminder that the smallest pups often have the loudest hearts. 💚

We adored having Lucy visit and can’t wait to see her again soon!

🚨 Here comes trouble… but make it double! 🚨
Meet Stevie and Reggie, two tiny Chihuahua pups who came in for their vaccinations this week – and stole everyone’s hearts in the process! 💉🐾

These two packed a whole lot of personality into some very little paws. From tail wags to teeny tiny barks, their visit had us all smiling from ear to ear. 😍

Vaccinations are an important part of keeping puppies protected – and Stevie and Reggie took it like champs (with a few cuddles and treats, of course!).

We can’t wait to see what adventures this dynamic duo gets up to next. 💥
