Imogen Rowe sent me this fabulous video of Mishkas Miss 🩷 and Mr 💛 meeting up at puppy training!
Bobbi and Sounder (from the Foo Fighters litter) seem to be having a great time together, I wonder if they remember each other or whether it is a Vizsla recognising another vizsla?
That is definitely a thing. My girls met Sheriden’s girls for the first time in the dog park, all off lead. In no time they became a 5 dog Parkour led pack. Mishka makes sure that everyone knows she’s the boss!
No nastiness , just the two Parkour Toddlers/Twins ( Dascha and Misty) running endless loops around all of us. A wonderful thing to see!
I remember my old dog trainer in the uk (Phillipa Williams) saying that this is definitely a thing.
I was on a residential dog training holiday back in the mid 80’s with Nattie.
On the holiday was a German short haired pointer and they palled up. As Phillipa said, they are communicating in HPR dialect.
On the last day of the holiday a Vizsla turned up that I knew but Nattie didn’t.
They instantly paired up, the poor GSP was ignored as they were now talking to each other in Vizsla not GSP dialect.
