Calling for Cat Owners! 🐈‍⬛

⭐️ We are seeking out cat owners of Australia to participate in a survey investigating the use of Catios by domestic cats.

⭐️ Catios (Cat-Patios) are enclosed outdoor spaces designed for pet cat use.

⭐️ Currently, there is no official research into Catios across Australia, and we want to bridge that information gap.

We want to hear from all types of cat owners who are over 18 years of age and who currently live in Australia. The survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete and will help inform future ownership advice and guidelines.

Sharing this survey with fellow cat owners would be a great help!

More information can be found by scanning the QR code on the attached flyer or by clicking on the link below.

I’m excited to share that I’ve taken on the role of General Manager of the Delta Institute, a role I’ll be doing part-time alongside Taylored Dog Training.

For those who don’t know the Delta Institute, it’s a Registered Training Organisation that provides education designed to graduate professional dog trainers who are fully qualified to run puppy and adult dog classes, as well as provide one-on-one behavioural consultations (https://www.deltainstitute.edu.au/). Delta is a leader in positive reinforcement training, with evidence-based methods that help create sustainable, healthy and happy relationships between people and their dogs.

This is a really exciting opportunity for me to contribute to the education and development of future dog trainers, while continuing to do the work I love with dogs and their families.

And importantly, Taylored Dog Training isn’t going anywhere! 😊

I’ll still be available for private consultations, mostly Thursday–Sunday. I may just take a little longer to get back to enquiries while I balance both roles.

The best way to get in touch is through my website: www.tayloreddogtraining.com

Thank you to everyone who has supported Taylored Dog Training over the years. I’m really looking forward to this next chapter and continuing to help dogs and their people live better together.

This year has been full of wonderful dogs, dedicated guardians, plenty of wins (both big and small), and more than a few moments that have reminded me why I love this job so much.

However, even when you love your job you sometimes need a break. I wanted to let everyone know that I'll be taking the month of August off for a holiday. ☀️

I'm also fully booked before I leave, so I won't be able to fit in any more consultations this month. If you've been thinking about booking in, please feel free to send through a website enquiry for September and beyond, I'd love to see you when I'm back.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their dogs, recommended my services, or simply followed along here. Your support means the world to my little business.

Now it's time for a few weeks away... before I come home and happily get covered in dog hair all over again. 🐾❤️
