👢🌱 Stomping of the Divots!

A huge thank you to Sam Buchanan Sam Buchanan DipWcf for sponsoring one of our favourite Larapinta Open Polo traditions — the Stomping of the Divots! 🐎🌴

With a $300 cash prize up for grabs, there was a little extra incentive to get out on the field and get stomping! 💰👏

And that’s a wrap on the 2026 Larapinta Open Polo! 🐎🌴✨

What a day! Incredible polo, a fantastic crowd and plenty of action both on and off the field made this year’s Larapinta Open one to remember.

Thank you to all of our players, teams, sponsors, officials, volunteers, vendors and spectators who came together to make the day possible. From the first game of the morning through to the 10 Goal Final and presentations, the atmosphere was brilliant.

We loved seeing everyone enjoying the polo, food trucks, courtyard, and, of course, getting involved in the traditional half-time stomping of the divots.

Thank you for joining us at Larapinta Equestrian and supporting our charity partner, Foodbank QLD Foodbank Queensland

And last but not least, a huge thank you to the Irvine Family for a fantastic day!

Come hungry. Stay for the polo. 🏇🍻🍝

The Larapinta Open is TOMORROW, and there’ll be plenty happening off the field too!

🍝 Flavours of Eataly — serving up some of Brisbane’s best Italian street food.

🐷 This Little Piggie — slow-cooked meats, pulled pork and their signature loaded nachos.

🍻 Larapinta Courtyard — grab a drink from the public bar, find a spot at the picnic tables and settle in for an afternoon of polo.

Great food, cold drinks and plenty of action on the field. See you tomorrow at Larapinta! 🥂🐎🌴
