Update #5 - 🥳🥳 WE ARE OPEN 🥳🥳
After being closed for almost 3 weeks, we are finally able to reopen our doors! THANK YOU again to everyone who made this possible. The first round of floods hit us, but thankfully Cyclone Narelle didn't. We still have a few things to fix up, but our kennels are ready to be filled with our furry friends 🥰🥰🐾🐾

Update #4 - A BIG thank you to everyone that has helped us! To everyone that came to our property, to everyone who donated, you have all been amazing! The amount of support we have received has truly been incredible. We could not have gotten this far without you, and we thank every one of you ❤️

❌️❌️ HELP NEEDED ❌️❌️
Update 3 - We have finally made it back to our property. It’s not looking great. The fences have fallen around our kennels, a big mahogany has come down. The inside of our downstairs is completely lost. Bed, couch, fridge - all destroyed. We currently have no tools or anything to get this done. We need help. If anyone can help us we would be eternally grateful. If someone knows how to fix fences, can help us move the debris out, has trailers or anything we can throw things in. We dont have power or any running water yet. We are at a loss and devastated. We will be here all day, everyday trying to clean this up. Can anyone help us?

Update 2: We are safe! Yesterday afternoon NTES came out on 2 boats and were able to transport all the dogs and cats into town where it was dry. NT Police, Josh and his team at animal welfare then transported the animals to a secure location and provided food and water. Once there, Lockie was able to contact friends of owners and owners themselves to pick up their dogs and cats and take them home. One of the owners has lent us their car to help us out as ours is under water. This was a mammoth effort and we thank everyone involved. We also thank everyone who reached out to offer help and assistance, we appreciate every one of you. Also, thank you to Trent from Rod and Rifle for continuous updates. We watched them from our island which kept us informed on how town was looking. With everything being under water, we know it’s going to be a big cleanup, but right now we are just thankful the animals are safe. Thank you again to everyone, it really is amazing when a community comes together to help each other out.❤️❤️🐾🐾

Just an update: the floods are currently kicking our butts. Our kennels are under water and we have had to evacuate the dogs and cats to our house, which thankfully has a second story. However, there is nowhere else we can go from here. We are praying the water level has peaked and starts to go down.
