Half of our school of Rummy Nose Tetras with Dr Pepper the Peppered Corydora in the background. After viewing this video I see some suspicious white bits on the Rummies. Will have to go back and have a much longer and closer inspection.

Brine Shrimp is on the morning menu for the Hotel Swordtail.

It is jungle-topia in the fry tank. Live plants help keep the tank free of algae and stabilise the parameters. Tannins assist the fish with keeping their slime coats in good order. All in all a lovely thriving community tank.

At the Finique House of Acara it is brine shrimp for breakfast. It certainly doesn't last long.

It is not often you can catch the male and female Bristlenoses out at the same time. Even then, I only got 9 seconds with them both before they scooted off to their usual hidihg spots.

In the Finique House of Acara there is a conspiracy going round that they never get fed. Despite the perceptions of the inhabitants food is dispensed each second day from the auto feeder. This routine ensures all the food gets eaten and they still keep their foraging skills. Overfeeding with left over food can lead to all sorts of problems, such as cloudy water, parameter spikes and an explosion of algae and snails. Correct feeding levels can keep the aquarium balanced and stable. The fish will be happy and healthy, despite what they say. Enjoy your fishkeeping.
