Woody, a 9 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, came in for foreign body surgery after swallowing a rather unusual object… a lead fishing sinker!

It certainly made for some very cool X-rays, but it’s definitely not the kind of fishing tackle we want our four-legged friends catching!

❤️ The good news? Woody is recovering well! 🐶

A great reminder the importance of keeping fishing gear and other small, tempting objects safely out of reach for our pups.
