FAIRYFOREST RainWing Onyx made her show debut this weekend with Ancats - Australian National Cat Alliance Inc - thank you to the Judges and Stewards for making it a wonderful experience for her... as you can see from the pics she was a natural.
She won nothing, at 14 weeks she had no chance against Teddy and Lizzy, but the feedback was wonderful and I am really appreciating everyones response to her marble as it can be a little daunting putting something different out there.

the SeaWings Litter made their show debut yesterday with Ancats - Australian National Cat Alliance Inc and won hearts and a lot of laughs.
Whilst they were all fabulous special shout outs go to
🏵 Fathom - our brown charcoal boy - who was awarded Judges Choice by Judge Jane Van D**e for his amazing personality on the bench... I am now having second thoughts about giving him up (do not tell Graeme)
🏵 Hina - the only girl in the litter (pink collar, silver spotted) was unanimously awarded first place in the litter and even came Reserve Bengal Kitten ahead of much older kittens in one ring. She has an amazing career ahead of her in an exciting new program!
❓🏵 The SeaWings were best litter in show - unfortunately somebody forgot to make the rosette which was a bit sad as they really deserved it 😥 harrumph
🏡 Stonemover (orange collar, silver charcoal boy) has also asked me to let it be known he also has a stunning personality and amazing coat, but finds cat shows a total drag and would rather find a home where he is beloved every day ... you can PM him via me if interested 😹

HAPPY FATHERS DAY to the fathers at Fairytail Bengals.
Graeme who is vet nurse, chef, personal assistant, housekeeper, show daddy and unsung hero of the whole Fairytail Family.

WILDVALLEY Teddy Bear... ok I am posting this boy a lot but honestly Barbie Farrugia and I are just a little teeny bit proud of him
At yesterdays Oh La La show with Ancats - Australian National Cat Alliance Inc , he lived up to the show name. He is really starting to settle into life and shows now and was more than happy to have a play with the judges teaser and show off his outstanding physique and rosettes.
In a line up of 5 bengal kittens and a much larger group of other breeds Teddy was
🏵🏵🏵 3rd, 4th and 5th in Group
🐯🐯🐯3 times Best in Breed

Teddy moves into adult class at his next show... his kitten career was short & sweet across 3 shows, winning a Reserve Supreme, and Best In Breed 75% of rings... but now he's got to enter the big boy leagues and take on JaneWickhamDarcy, but I will not be betting against him thats for sure🥊🥊🥊

WILDVALLEY Teddy Bear stepped out for his second show in kitten class at the Borderline Cat Show last weekend. It was his first time traveling for a show and it whacked him a bit so he was even more shy than usual but he still did well in a ridiculously impressive line up of Wild Valley Bengals kittens. I really need to try to get photos of all 3 kittens to put side by side as it was really a fabulous line up of how different 3 brown spotted bengal kittens can look and all be completely correct in colour and pattern - I LOVE this breed it really is the most amazing!!!!
Anyway Teddy's results:

Bye Bye RainWings... and the day came, they turned 12 weeks old and off went Fireball, Jerboa and Ostrich/Yuki/Loui (the kitten with many names) without so much as a glance backwards.
The RainWings litter was a bittersweet moment for us... it was Snow Lily's last litter (she is recuperating before the first of our Queens to be desexed and retired) ... but also our first litter with King von Moorjuwel - and he has definitely not disappointed
Onyx will stay with us to carry on this line... yes, she is another marble... yes, I said that NOTHING would make me fall in love with another marble, but she is really rather special, so she has to stay in the Fairytail chaos while Fireball, Jerboa and Loui are off to much much more worthy homes 😻
Onyx will do her first show this weekend with Ancats - Australian National Cat Alliance Inc - Lizzie has been training her all week in inappropriate show behavior. Thank god Panthers has a bar😹

FAIRYFOREST JaneWickhamDarcy made his return to the show bench this weekend (after reflecting on his fat shaming a few months ago, he has been more mindful in his eating 😹).
It was his first showing in adult class, though at 11 months old he is still a baby to me, and his new, less "substantial", figure delighted the judges. He jumped, he played, he stole a teaser or two and brought home some great results and lovely denim and lace rosette.

The boys and I (with stowaway Narwahl) made the 18 hour road trip to the Cats NSW Inc. Borderline Cat Show and boy was it worth it. Congratulations to the show team, it was absoloutely buzzing all day with literally hundreds of visitors, 4 rings and fabulous local and international judges.
I had the immense pleasure of stewarding for Erin Brown of FCCQ and learned so much. I'll share the show results later, but honestly that was secondary to a fabulous weekend.
