When you go to the park and get to meet a half Brother! Franklin and Doug are both by Zazu and happened to be at the dog park at the same time and were able to have a play together! We love seeing Iris Oodles dogs out and about and running into each other! 💛

After a lovely break we’re now back and ready to share some happy updates and future puppy plans over the next couple of weeks! We’ve also received lots of enquiries in the email inbox whilst we’ve been away and we’re looking forward to getting in touch with those families over the next week or two to hear more about them and if we can help bring some Groodle or Bordoodle love into their homes 😊

Our first update! We’re excited to introduce Miss Adélie! Beautiful Adélie joined us last week and she is a Moyen (medium size) parti-coloured Poodle.

As many of you know, we have a bird theme for most of our dogs’ names. Adélie is a penguin species and means “noble”. The name has German and French roots, just like the history of the Poodle breed. It is also a French diminutive for Adelaide. We felt it was the perfect match for our newest little addition 🐧

After a busy 2025 and first half of 2026, I’m now taking some time off to recharge, do some upgrades and spend some time with the adult dogs.

Social media notifications and messages will be responded to when I return in October.

Families that are wanting my support and advice with their puppies, particularly the families that have taken a puppy home recently, please contact me by text as I’ll still be checking the phone periodically 📞

One year of our special boy Oakley 🎂🤎 For everyone that has been following the page for the past year, you’d know that Oakley was born with a front leg that’s a little different to his others. We did what we could to straighten it, but Mother Nature had decided that he was meant to be a little unique! We all refer to it as his wing🪽He required bottle feeding for the first couple of weeks and he was an extra special puppy to us with all the time we spent caring for him. When we felt Oakley was ready, we sought expressions of interest for the home we felt would be the right fit. We wanted Oakley to live life to the fullest, but we felt he needed a family that could go at his speed whilst he was younger and a little less balanced. He found his amazing pawrents Bec and Rowan who have given Oakley the perfect home! He’s their fur baby and he has lots of four legged cousins he has weekly play dates with at his grandpawrents place! Oakley goes fishing, camping and travelling and his leg doesn’t stop him from doing anything - even standup paddle boarding! We loved the recent photos of his adventures in Canberra and his Mum brought him to our birthday catch up on the weekend where he had a ball with around 30 other dogs/siblings! We’re so happy Oakley has had a wonderful first year of life after a bit of a rocky start. We are also so grateful to Bec and Rowan and that Oakley has connected us with such a lovely couple too ❤️

Zazu & Kookaburra’s medium Groodle litter left with their excited forever families at the end of last week. We love seeing the happy and smiling faces on pickup day!

Rosie, Moose, Paddy, Gus, Milton, Reginald, Benee, Franklin, Ivy and Lola have all settled in really well into their forever homes ❤️ Thank you to their families for trusting us to provide them with their new family member. Lola’s even lucky enough to join another Zazu puppy, as her family have come back for a second Iris Oodles puppy. If you ask us, you can never have too much Groodle love in your life!

We are now taking a break from litters after a busy period. We will continue to enjoy receiving updates from our puppy families though and get our puppy fix through them!

Groodle puppy antics! Moose & Milton playing with plenty of noise at one end of the group and Benee (was Bellwether) & Rosie (was Nibbles) playing at the other end! Paddy (Pawbert) is just sitting there not getting involved, Lola (was Hopps) walks off uninterested at the start and then Gus (was Yax) ends up coming over to see what’s happening 😂🐾

We loved receiving these beautiful photos of Bailey in her forever home 🤎 We received lovely feedback on how she’s settled in really well. She’s been good in her crate at night time and she’s not having any accidents in the house! Bailey’s even gone out and about in her families arms to watch the kids sport 🏀 We’re so happy for Bailey and her family! 🏡

They say dogs look like their owners.. well the kids and Bailey certainly have matching hair 😂

Bailey is from the Zazu x Violet litter that left a couple of weeks ago.

Happy 1st Birthday to Violet & Zazu’s puppies Rayner, Tucker, Franklin, Arthur, Oakley, Frankie, Kiki, Daphne, Eadie, Flamingo & Sasia! 🎁

Flamingo enjoyed celebrating her special day with some new toys and cake with the girls! I didn’t have time to make a dog friendly cake, so Mingo shared a small slither of a blueberry bun with Violet, Tweety and Chickadee! 🎂

We’re looking forward to celebrating with some of the other siblings at the 1st Birthday Catchup next weekend! 🥳

(Please excuse the dirty floors! After lots of rain in the past week and with a half done backyard, the house is looking a bit of a mess with 4 dogs running in and out of the mud and into the house! Working on the backyard is on the to do list tomorrow! 🪏)

Violet & Zazu’s puppies Cleo, Bear, Maple, Colby, Rusty, Moose, Kobe, Bilbo, Daisy, Kiri Tehana and Bailey have all left with their forever families and we’ve already been receiving great updates and feedback about how they are settling in 🏡

Cleo and Bear are staying in the same family so will have plenty of playtime catch ups and sleepovers together which we love! Moose has gone to a loving family who have come back for their second puppy from us. Moose and Bordoodle Koda are getting along great already 💕 Kiri Tehana is pictured with her new Groodle and Cavoodle siblings. I’m sure those 3 are going to keep their pawrents busy! All the other puppies found their perfect families too 🥰

It was so nice to meet more new lovely families and we hope their puppies bring lots of happiness into their homes! We look forward to keeping in touch, hearing what the pups get up to and hopefully seeing them again at our Groodle catch ups in the future 🐾

Thank you to everyone who enquired about Higgins. He has found a lovely family to join when he’s 9 weeks old ❤️

Groodle puppy Mr Higgins is looking for a forever home with plenty of leaves and belly tickles! He is a medium Groodle expected to grow to around 18-21kg. Higgins is a beautiful natured solid boy with a lovely chunky Golden Retriever type head and a beautiful fleece coat. He’s a playful, cuddly and confident puppy who we know will bring lots of joy to his forever family 🏡

All of the families currently on our waiting list aren’t ready to add to their family yet, so Higgins is available through no fault of his own. He’s currently 6 weeks old and will be ready to go to his family in approximately 3 weeks time.
