Meet Frankie! 🐾

This tiny little Italian Greyhound came in for his vaccination and was quite possibly the cutest little patient we’ve had in our hands! 🥹

Frankie was so teeny, he practically fit in the palm of our hands. 🥰

Safe to say, we were all a little bit obsessed! 💚

Congratulations to Natasha! Tash received the award for ‘2026 Nurse Mentor of the Year’. We are incredibly proud of her for this well deserved achievement. She is an integral part of Greencross Caloundra and the team would be lost without her!

Bird flu is making headlines, so Better Homes & Gardens asked Greencross Vets what it means for our pets.

Greencross Vets veterinarian Dr Nina shares practical advice to help pet parents understand the risks and take simple precautions.

“Bird flu can infect all mammals, so dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets can all be infected.”

From avoiding contact with sick or dead wildlife to keeping cats indoors and dogs on a leash around wildlife, a few simple steps can help reduce exposure.

Read Dr Nina’s advice and the full Better Homes & Gardens article at:

The best things really do come in pairs! From matching outfits to matching dental procedures Ace and Zero went through it all together. 🐾🥺

Ziggy came in for his castrate last week! 🐶💙 He was just too cute to resist, so naturally, he spent most of the day getting cuddles from the team! 🥰

🖤 A majestic visitor who never should have needed a trip to the vet.

This beautiful black swan was found with a fishing hook stuck in its mouth - a painful and completely preventable injury caused by discarded fishing gear.

Removing the hook required a general anaesthetic, along with pain relief to keep this feathered patient comfortable while we treated them. 🦢

A reminder to all anglers: please take your fishing line, hooks and tackle home with you or use a designated disposal bin. The Victorian Fisheries Authority advises that old fishing line should be placed in bins, or if there are no bins available, taken home, cut up and disposed of in general waste. Their Seal the Loop program also provides dedicated bins for unwanted fishing line, hooks, netting and rope. (VFA)

Discarded fishing gear can cause entanglement, injury and even death to wildlife. A few extra seconds to dispose of your gear properly can make a huge difference. 💔

🎣 Fish responsibly. Dispose responsibly. Protect our wildlife. A big thanks for the wildlife careers for bringing this amazing swan in and thanks to our team for helping 🫶🏼

Pepsi is in her 🌟 Brave Girl Era 🌟

She was so brave after her desexing procedure recently that she received a hand drawn Bravery Certificate! Here she is pictured with Nurse Caitie having some post surgery cuddles 🥰

🐾✨ Stella’s surgery success! ✨🐾

Sweet 11-year-old Stella recently underwent an emergency cystotomy with us to remove bladder stones. 🩺💗

After her procedure and a little time to recover, Stella is now doing amazingly well so far and almost back to being her happy self! 🥰🐶

We’re so pleased to see this beautiful girl feeling comfortable and healthy again. 💕

🐾💙 Making a difference, one paw at a time in Vanuatu! 🇻🇺

Dr Michelle is currently in Vanuatu with Vets Beyond Borders, volunteering her time and veterinary skills to provide much-needed care to animals in the local community. 🐶🐱

From free veterinary clinics and surgery to parasite control, desexing and general health care, Michelle and the incredible team are helping improve the lives of animals and the people who love them. ❤️

These photos capture just a little of the amazing work being done — from performing surgery in a local clinic, to cuddling some very sweet puppies and working alongside a wonderful team of local and international volunteers.

What an incredible experience, and such a wonderful reminder that a little compassion, knowledge and time can make a huge difference. 🌏🐾

We’re so proud of you, Michelle! 💙
Keep doing what you do best — making the world a better place for animals. 🐕🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Community Open Day at Greencross Vets Kippa-Ring! 💚🐾

Congratulations to some of our lucky winners who took home prizes from our Jumbo Raffle, Lucky Door Prize and Spin the Wheel Jackpot! We hope you enjoy your goodies.

Most importantly, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised $652.72 for Animals in Need through our sausage sizzle, raffle tickets, donations and stall purchases.

Every dollar will help support pets who need a little extra care, and we couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you to everyone who came along, supported the day and helped make a real difference. We can't wait to see you at our next community event!
