๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ -
I was having a chat to someone who's deep in the Queensland building industry and happened to mention that we're shutting down this coming July to have the dodgy epoxy floor replaced in the Indoor Kennels.
He asked me if the contractor who did the original poor quality flooring job was QBCC certified.
I asked him why that would matter and he said that if your contractor is QBCC certified, you can actually report the contractor to them and claim the cost of the work back as part of what the contractor pays to be QBCC certified is insurance for problems like this.
Naturally, we'll be following this up re the dodgy floor job and my building contact said that it doesn't matter if it's 5 years later which is also good to know.
That was certainly something that was unknown to me but given the amount of problems we hear people complain about, it certainly isn't common knowledge so we thought we'd share.
Have a great day ๐
