Lil never works in paddock for me so I am super pleased with how this little job went & how well she listened!! Especially since she had been working in the yards this morning for Greg!!

🏡 WE’RE BACK IN NSW! 🐑🐕❤️

After a bit of a change of scenery, we’ve made the move back into NSW, with Greg taking up a permanent position on a Merino property in the beautiful Grattai district.

And let me tell you… the hounds are VERY happy to have a new home! 😂

Mac, Kippa, Lil & Gabs spent the first four weeks frantically trying to remember exactly how this sheep work thing is supposed to go. There’s been plenty of enthusiasm, plenty of noise and the occasional “I definitely know what I’m doing” moment, even tho Dad said "no you don't!" 🤣🐶

Noise has also had some time on the sheep and it didn’t take her long to work out that her Huntaway bark moves sheep very effectively. She’s now constantly looking for an excuse to sneak out the gate with Dad, just in case he happens to be heading towards the sheep. 😂

While Greg is now committed to his permanent role and is no longer available for contracting, Lil 🐕 and I are ready and waiting for any small jobs around the Mudgee district.

And because apparently moving house, settling into a new job and remembering how to work sheep wasn’t enough craziness… we added Sherl and the Mean Girls to the household! 🐔😂

The girls have settled in beautifully and wasted absolutely no time getting the egg production underway. Kippa & Noise have taken their new job very seriously and can regularly be found sitting at the fence keeping the girls company. 🐶🐔🥚

Then there was this morning…

Big Girl suddenly had her hackles up, growling in a way that had the other dogs backing away and wondering what the hell was going on.

Turns out we have a new squatter in the roof who apparently enjoys staying up all night. 🫣😂

Definitely a removal job for Greg!

So, almost eight weeks back in NSW and we’ve already got sheep, dogs, chickens, a roof squatter and plenty of chaos.

Feels like we’re home. ❤️🐑🐶🐔
