Breeding season is well underway at Davidson. 🐴

Whether you’re planning your next performance horse, breeding a proven mare or navigating the process for the first time, our aim is to make the breeding journey as straightforward as possible.

With an experienced reproduction veterinarian on-site and a breeding program built around producing quality sport horses, we can assist with:

• Artificial insemination using fresh, chilled or frozen semen
• Reproductive scanning and breeding soundness examinations
• Stallion collection and semen services
• Frozen semen storage
• Foaling down
• On-farm mare care throughout the breeding process

For us, breeding has always been about more than getting a mare in foal. It’s about making considered decisions from the very beginning, with the future horse in mind.

If breeding is on the cards for your mare this season, now is the time to get in touch and discuss your plans.

Stallions at Stud:

🐴Spectre D🐴
16.2hh 9 year old Brown Stallion (DOB 10/12/2016)

Spectre D is an approved AWHA stallion captivating assessors and being awarded a 9 for his jumping ability. 2026 saw Spectre D step up to World Cup level.  He is brave and careful, with a super bascule and technique over a fence. He has three excellent paces and is good in the bridle which is attractive for the eventing breeders being ridden in a snaffle bit. He handles the atmosphere at major World Cup and Indoor shows like a pro proving he has inherited his dam Fairbanks Lulu’s work ethic.  Spectre has passed on his deep bay colouring and attractive features to his foals. The foals are long legged with good height and well balanced conformation.

Spectre’s dam Fairbanks Lulu was a favourite amongst the Australian Showjumping community. Having successfully competed at World Cup level for several seasons as well as representing Australia in the Oceana Championships in 2014 She was sold on to a junior rider and was a reliable and trustworthy teacher. Her technique was sharp and correct, with an excellent canter making for impressive rideability. Spectre is an embryo transfer foal out of Fairbanks Lulu and by the well known and highly respected Stakkato.

Fresh and chilled semen available.

Diabella D on the right with her rising 3yo ET daughter Seabella D (Spectre D × Diamant de Semilly) on the left, just beginning her ridden career. 🤎
