✨ Calvin D (Crack/Diarado)✨ DOB: 06.11.2023

Calvin D is an athletic grey gelding by the exceptional Grand Prix stallion, Richard Vogel’s successful partner, the outstanding Crack. A son of Cornet Obolensky, Crack is renowned for his genuine rideability, exceptional work ethic, and athleticism—qualities that are already evident in Calvin.

His dam, Delvigne D, has made an exciting start to her competition career in both eventing and showjumping, showing all the attributes of a future star. She is a brave, blood-type mare with three expressive, elastic paces. Calvin also boasts an exceptional dam line, with grandsire Diarado renowned for producing elite jumpers and eventers, while damsire Fairbanks Catargo has produced multiple 4* event horses and World Cup performers.

Calvin is a lovely young horse with a bright future ahead. He is brave and confident, shows a correct and careful technique over a fence, and possesses three naturally elastic paces. Combining athleticism, pedigree, and temperament, he is a beautiful young gelding ready to begin his next chapter under saddle.

A special milestone achieved. ✨

Mattea is proud to have officially passed her coaching practical assessment and is now an EA Level 3 Eventing and Showjumping Specialist Coach.

This achievement represents years of learning, teaching, riding, and continual growth—often while balancing competition schedules, veterinary work, family life, and everything in between.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the journey along the way: family, friends, fellow coaches, students, and the many people who have generously shared their knowledge and experience.

To the students who have trusted the process and turned up ready to learn—thank you. Coaching is a privilege, and seeing riders and horses develop together is incredibly rewarding.

And of course, the greatest teachers of all are the horses. They continue to challenge us, humble us, and teach us something new every day.

Thank you to Shane for the endless support through the late nights, deadlines, and inevitable moments of stress that come with chasing big goals.
