🚨 PLEASE STOP LEAVING DONATIONS OUTSIDE THE SHOP WHEN WE ARE CLOSED 🚨

We really appreciate genuine donations and people thinking of our animals, but please do not leave bags or items at the front of Enchanted Pets when nobody is there.

The “donation” left today was doona covers — something we cannot use. So instead of this helping us, we now have to dispose of someone else’s unwanted bedding.

We are not an op shop where unwanted items can be left out the back. Please don’t use our shop as somewhere to offload things you no longer want.

I live around 30 minutes away, so when things are left outside the shop, I have to leave home or work and drive in to deal with them. It’s really unfair, especially when the items aren’t even something we can use.

If you would like to donate something, please bring it during opening hours. If you’re unsure whether we can use something, just message us first.

We are incredibly grateful for the donations that genuinely help our animals — but please don’t create more work and expense for the people you’re trying to help. ❤️

🐾 MEET JACOB, PIXIE, MOSS & Rorie 🐾

🤍 Jacob
Oh, our Jacob… you have waited so long for a loving and beautiful home. Our Jacob is honestly the most loving boy! Loud noises and random changes can be very scary for him. Of course, these things can be scary for all of our cats, but Jacob is a little bit of a sensitive man. 🥹

Jacob was adopted for three years and then returned for “not getting along with other cats”, which we havent found any issues. Jacob came back into our care at the Haven around four months ago and has since spent time around other cats. Honestly, he mostly minds his own business! If the other cat is okay with Jacob, then Jacob will be okay too.

We would absolutely love for you to come and meet him. He is truly one of a kind and deserves his forever home. ❤️

💕 Pixie
This beautiful princess just loves cuddles and human affection! Pixie is amazing with other cats and is a very confident girl. She is such a gorgeous little character and would make a wonderful addition to the right home. 🥰

🤎 Moss
Our beautiful boy… just look at that face! How could you not resist him? 😍

Moss is a gorgeous boy who just needs to be shown love. He has grown up in our care, and we still have his beautiful mummy, Sheeba! We truly feel like Moss is going to have a heart of gold and a loyalty like no other — just like his mum. ❤️

👑 Rorie
And then we have our Rorie… our little attitude queen! 😂👑

Rorie hates change, so she may take a little while to adjust. She can have plenty of attitude, but underneath it all, she still loves cuddles and little bits of attention. She will need some time to settle into a new home, so we are looking for someone patient who is willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and comfortable. ❤️

All of our kittens NEED to go to a home with another cat. We do not adopt our kittens into homes where they will be alone.

All of our cats must also be adopted into an INDOOR-ONLY HOME. This is not negotiable.

We run a rescue, and our cats’ safety and wellbeing will always come first. We do not want to see any of our cats lonely, lost outside, or, heartbreakingly, injured or run over. Unfortunately, not everyone understands our policy, but we hope you can understand why these rules are so important to us. 🐾❤️

📦 A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT DONATIONS 📦

Sorry to bring this up again, but please do not leave donations at our door when we are closed, especially if they are dirty, broken or unusable.

We have a small shop, and if any sickness, ringworm or anything else enters the shop, it puts all of our cats at risk. Please wait until we are open and someone is in the shop to accept your donations. 🙏

We truly appreciate every single person who donates and supports us — we are so grateful for you all. We just ask that you please be mindful of the safety of our cats. ❤️
