Chicken release day 😊 10 weeks living with the heat lamp in the shed they are now big enough to venture out with the elders.

A bit of a failure to launch initially when only 1 was brave enough to leave the cage. Mrs Chook was all over it though, and let's just say, kept a very firm grip on the rest of the flock - looked a little scary at times, so everyone kept a very respectful distance 😂

How good is the camouflage on the female Gang-gang cockatoo 😊 Wouldn't have had a clue they were there if they weren't busy eating gumnuts and dropping them all over the entrance to the Dome. The boys pink head gave him away a bit more though 😂

This mornings (and last night's) adventures - saw headlights in our driveway late last night and found a rather stuck caravan who had mistaken us for a camp ground and failed on doing a U-turn on our nature strip 😂 Fortunately they were well setup, so we left it to this morning to get the tractor to drag them out - our good deed for the day done 😊

I know it's mid-winter and they'd be pretty slow - but it's still a heart stopping moment when you turn a log over and you see this 30cm from your hand! Then the relief floods in when you see the full picture 😂😂😂

Meet Bella, our little rescue cat who has made it her job to 'sit on things' 😂
