Pallative Care Home Needed - please share
Vintage Salem
Miss Vintage from the Senior cat intake has finished up her mycoplasma treatment and is ready to find a pallative care home. She is very old, 17 or 18 we were told.
Her body condition has only improved since arriving, however blood work did say her liver wasn't working properly and she does some very exotic poops in the litter box. She probably has a few months.
Vintage has her little crate she has being residing in that she always races back to for the toilet and to be safe when the other young whipper snappers are rampaging around the house. When she's out and about she likes to find places to sleep and spread out on the floor. The heat this week has really being doing a number on her. Maybe an air conditioner in her future would be nice.
She often hangs out in the kitchen and will meow for treats. She will track you down if she can smell food. This girl is eating a biscuit every 5 seconds. She's not silly. She also likes to sleep on the bed which is cute.
She tolerates the other cats, but does tell them to go away. She prefers pats to being held.
Shes to delicate for lots of picking up and rough housing that comes with kids, nosey dogs or nasty cats. So you would need a very calm house with polite animals or no other pets.
She is currently located in Monto. We do have transport to Brisbane/Gold coast, but realistically adopters who live within 3-4 hours drive would be better due to the stress of travel.
Send us a message we can work something out.
She needs something urgently.
