Cece found today quite difficult after having such a big day yesterday. She was very tired today and didn’t have much energy left to give. Despite that, she tried her absolute heart out and still did an amazing job. ❤️

Our first attempt at 95cm today, and Cece made it look easy! I’m so excited to get her back out eventing—she’s proving to be a very exciting horse for the future, and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together🤩.

Sara is dog-reactive, so we’re working at a distance where she can remain under threshold and successful. Starting far enough away allows her to observe without reacting, which is how calm behaviour is learned.

As her confidence and self-control improve, we can gradually decrease the distance. One key moment here is her choosing to look back at me — that check-in tells me she’s regulated and seeking guidance. This is how dogs learn that calm focus leads to safety and reassurance 🤍
