Before we head off on our own adventures, I thought I’d share another part of my life with you.

I write and illustrate children’s books under the name Willow D Fox, and I’ve just published my third book!

To celebrate, all three books will be free to download on Kindle this weekend. If you have children or grandchildren who enjoy a little adventure, I’d love to introduce them to mine.
The stories follow Bella and Busta, our two French bulldogs whose adventures in the coastal town of Beacon Bay involve pirates, mysteries and a little magic.

I think I’ve mentally left already. 🤣

The caravan is waiting, the road is calling and I’m more than ready to find out what’s around the next bend.

Unfortunately, real life has a few boxes left to tick first. Things to sell, things to sort, a house to deal with and all those little jobs that seem to multiply when you’re trying to leave.

We’re not quite on the road yet.

But we’re getting closer.

And maybe this bit matters too, because Our Last Chapter was never only going to be about the places we visit. It’s about everything it takes to finally get there.

Although I’d quite happily skip ahead a few pages now. 😎

We may not say it quite like you do,
But Dad, we really do love you.
You share your chair, you share your bed, and somehow we’re the ones well fed.

You take us walking, give us treats,
And surrender all the comfy seats.
You drive us places, clean our mess,
While we repay you with… more mess.

Bella brings the drama,
Busta brings the stare,
But wherever you are going, Dad,
You’ll find us both right there.

So Happy Father’s Day, Darren,
From your two four-legged kids.
We wouldn’t swap our human dad.
Well… not unless someone offered treats. 🤣
