Danson Royal Ruby made her eventing debut this past weekend! 👏❤️

She handled the big atmosphere and busy weekend like a superstar. I was thrilled with her dressage which had us sitting in 3rd place. A clear and under time cross-country round meant we held onto 3rd going into the final day. One rail in the showjumping saw us finish in 6th but I couldn’t be happier with how Ruby performed all weekend. This feels like the start of something really exciting! 🥹✨

Danson Royal Ruby at her first dressage competition.

Taking home the win with a 69%.
She had some tension throughout the test but perfectly behaved. It’s been a bit of a journey to get here but i am glad the hard work is paying off and now the fun can begin!

Rubys first dressage outing 🥰

Very happy with how she coped, taking home first place🥇by 3% with 69% in the 1.3 prelim.

Next stop 🚛 Qi3DE at TEG next weeknd for Rubys first three day event 🫶

Toowoomba ODE with Smudge 😍
What a fun weekend! In her dressage test she felt the best she ever has. She felt so with me and I was getting the same work in the ring as we do at home ❤️ Smudge is new to this dressage thing and I think she’s really getting the hang of it. She’s no longer lining up the arena fence thinking it’s a jump 😂

After dressage she was sitting in 6th and as Smudge does best she showjumped clear and then went clear and inside the time on cross-country to hold 6th place. She has really found her feet in the cross country phase and is feeling as confident as she could out there! She absolutely loves it and is so much fun to pilot.
