🌱Offering your horse a small fibre meal before riding helps encourage chewing and saliva production, which buffers stomach acid. Fibre also helps form a protective mat in the stomach, reducing acid splash during exercise.

A simple step to support stomach comfort, with JNF 🌱

Quality hay starts with proper sampling.

Our hay team samples across each paddock, checking moisture, quality and contaminants, with core samples collected for nutritional testing.

Careful checks from the paddock, so you can feel confident in what you’re feeding.

Meet PrimeCut Lucerne Hay 🌿

Leaf-rich, palatable lucerne that provides quality protein and digestible fibre for performance horses, breeding stock, growing horses and poor doers. Soft-compressed bales save space, with biscuits you can separate for easy portioning.

Introduce new hay gradually over 7–10 days. Aim for total daily roughage of around 1.5–2% of your horse’s body weight, adjusting for pasture, workload and body condition.

PrimeCut: premium forage, from paddock to bale.
