⛈️ WEATHER UPDATE ⛈️
With severe weather warnings currently in place for this week, we wanted to let our clients know that at this stage we are operating as normal.
Our salon provides a calm, safe and stress free environment for your pups, hopefully unaffected by whatever Mother Nature is throwing at us outside.
If anything changes on our end, affected appointments will be contacted as soon as possible.
We kindly ask that if weather conditions affect your ability to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as you can so we can make the necessary arrangements.

The reality of being a groomer story time 📖😝

After Titan was tragically forgotten in the Easter photos, his owner commented demanding justice for the fallen soldier.

The salon promised Titan VIP treatment at his next appointment.

The apprentice groomer took this responsibility extremely seriously.

A sparkly gold crown was handcrafted.The red carpet (a towel) was rolled out.Titan was welcomed like returning royalty.

As jas straightened the king's crown, Titan looked her dead in the eyes and unleashed liquid diarrhoea across the grooming table and directly onto her shoes.

The crown survived. Nothing else did.

Multiple items were immediately sent to the bin and the remainder of the shift was shoeless, sloshing around in damp, fur coated socks like a Victorian orphan.

Titan has since declined to comment 👑🐾

And honestly.... that's the reality of grooming. Not every day is pretty, some days are hard. But every day is worth it no matter how.... crappy. We still show up and we still love what we do. Titan is still very loved also..... we will just read the room better next time 😂

🐾SUCCESSFUL PUPPY INTRO🐾

Today we had Miss Fluffy Angel come in for her first ever pamper and she immediately graduated thanks to all the pre work her owner put into preparation for this visit.

Zero signs of anxiety, all the cuddles and kisses and snacks helped carry her through. She left as one excited fluff ball. 💛

🐾 Appointment Reminder & No-Show Policy 🐾

As a small business, missed appointments and last-minute cancellations have a significant impact on our salon. When an appointment is reserved for your dog, that time is set aside especially for you and cannot always be filled at short notice.

Our booking system sends a confirmation reminder 3 days before your appointment, giving plenty of time to reschedule if needed.

To help keep things fair for both our business and our loyal clients waiting for appointments:

⚠️ Customers who do not attend their appointment or cancel at the last minute will be required to pay the full appointment fee at their next booking.

At pampered paws our aim is always to have a positive and calm grooming session and the best way to achieve that is by starting your new puppies of with an introduction before jumping straight into a full groom.

❄️🐾 Winter Grooming Matters More Than You Think! 🐾❄️

We often hear, “I’d like to keep my dog’s coat long for winter” — and we love that fluffy, luxurious look too! 💛

But here’s the truth…
👉 A long coat is only possible if it’s well maintained and free of matting.

During the colder months, coats grow thicker and can easily become tangled without regular brushing and grooming. When matting becomes too severe, the kindest (and safest) option is often a short shave.

To keep coats long, healthy, and beautiful, we recommend a 6-week grooming schedule over winter ❄️✂️

We’ve seen a noticeable increase in fleas over the last couple of weeks.

fleas can make your dog uncomfortable, itchy, and irritated — but the good news is we can help! 💛

At Pampered Paws, we offer flea treatment washes to help eliminate fleas and get your pup feeling fresh and comfortable again. 🛁✨
