This groom was a little extra special because Jax recently celebrated his 11th birthday! 🎉🎂🐾 The whole Pearly Whirly Dog Grooming family would like to wish this gorgeous gentleman a very Happy 11th Birthday! 🥳💙 Eleven years young and still looking as handsome as ever!

It’s always lovely having Jax & Fergus together. They each have their own gorgeous little personalities, and I really enjoy spending time with them and giving them their freshen-up. 🛁✂️🫧

Sunny did really well for his groom, although he’s still convinced the blow-dryer is some sort of giant chew toy. 🤣 Apparently being dried is much more entertaining when you’re trying to catch it!

Thor finds grooming a little more challenging these days due to some medical issues, so every appointment is taken at his pace. I make sure to give him plenty of breaks, lots of reassurance, and, of course, a few extra cuddles along the way. 🥰

Seeing senior dogs like Thor feel safe, comfortable, and cared for means the world to me. They deserve all the patience, kindness, and gentle care we can give them. Thor did such a wonderful job, and I couldn’t be prouder of this handsome boy. 💙🐾

Sunny was such a sweet, gentle girl who took everything in her stride and soaked up all the love and attention. It was a joy spending time with her, and seeing her leave looking and feeling her very best made my day.

🐶💙 Diego came in over the weekend for some much-needed TLC after the heartbreaking loss of his fur brother, Charlie, last week.

It was clear that Diego is missing Charlie terribly. He seemed a little lost, and my heart just broke for him. So we took things at Diego’s pace, and I made sure to spend a little extra time with him, giving him plenty of love, cuddles, reassurance, and one-on-one attention.

Sometimes our dogs grieve just as deeply as we do, and a little extra kindness can make all the difference. Sending so much love to Diego and his beautiful family as they navigate this difficult time. ❤️🐾

Poppy was an absolute pleasure to groom from start to finish. She was so relaxed and enjoyed every part of the grooming process, making my job an absolute joy. 🛁✂️

🐶🫧 I had the pleasure of grooming these two adorable fur siblings, Mia & Max. 💕

At first, Max was a little stressed and spent his time making sure Mia was okay. As soon as he realised she was safe and happy, he relaxed, settled in, and even started to enjoy his groom. 🥹💙

When dogs are closely bonded like this, I like to wash, dry, and groom them together. Staying side by side helps them feel safe and comfortable, and I often find it greatly reduces their anxiety, making the whole grooming experience much more enjoyable for them.

These two precious souls were an absolute delight to spend time with, and it was so lovely watching their confidence grow throughout their appointment. I can’t wait to see Mia & Max again for their next pamper session! 🛁✂️🐾🤍

Louie has such a sweet, shy, and gentle nature. While he can be a little reserved at first, each visit I get to see more and more of his beautiful personality shine through. Watching his confidence grow is so rewarding, and it’s lovely to earn his trust a little more every time.

It’s always an absolute pleasure to groom this gorgeous boy, and I can’t wait to see him again for his next pamper. 🛁✂️🐾
