With huge humbleness we have been asked to speak to Luke Grant on 2GB tomorrow morning at 10:20am.
In this photo from the paper are the incredible brums we have trained and are still training with their now owners at Hilltop Eco Lodge. And the stand out brum, below is Twisty. One of our SBH training team who helps us train others and also people into riding bitless and with partnership.
We will be talking on their behalf.
On the show they are wanting to know about the Serrated Tussock these brumbies are now proving to be able to manage. How incredible that they can be the answer to a environmental disaster as this w**d takes over agricultural land and becomes resistant to spray.
What we our government is calling a 'feral' and a disaster to the environment we now have proof they could be the only answer we have to the tussock. And we are eradicating them. How dumb are we.

This is a Snowy brumby we call Mercy. She is now 5 years of age and lives free, happy and trained at Hilltop Eco Lodge near Destination Jindabyne with her brumby mob you have seen in some of the pics in this paper. Yes you can even stay there and interact with her and the others in their domestic mountain home.
We first met her as scared and confused brumby at 6 months old when we were picking up a load of trapped brums from NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service depot at Blowering. The Parks worker said can you fit one more in...and this was her. And we couldn't be more proud of her and all our trained SBH mob.
We are now very humbled to be asked to speak on her and the brumbies behalf tomorrow morning on 2GB with Luke Grant at 10:20am.

A dark time for the Snowy Brumby. But this photo is of our brumby Hopefully with the next high country generation who will always fight on for what is right and kind. Billy and his brother are growing up with there 8 SBH trained brumbies at Hilltop where his mum and dad run a Ecolodge. https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/1088887832660391279?source_impression_id=p3_1781214530_P3S0G-mZS_wIYzD4

Our SBH Brumbies are on a Serrated Tussock W**d management trial at the Bannister Angus Stud near Goulburn.
Thank you to the manager of the property and with guidance from his Agronomist for this trial. He had seen the work our brumbies had done on our own land for 10 years and after we ran some small trials at home they jumped at the chance to see if this could work in a commercial agricultural context.
This paddock had been sprayed in the past however the tussock had built up a resistance to spray. The paddock is being used to graze cattle however they do not touch the tussock.
The brumbies have been there for 2 weeks now and are already eating it down to small stubs. Plus the whole mob has put on condition after a big summer of training and ride work.
Thank you to all who have commented on our trial so far and shared our posts. This is what we need to give the wild brums left a chance to be valued and not classed as a 'feral' animal with no use.

A wintery day visit to our Snowy Brumby mob at their serrated tussock w**d management trial near Goulburn.
Yep Snowy Brumbies eat this evasive w**d and are the solution to help with its management. We just have to stop shooting them all.
At this cattle station they have spent thousands plus for years on trying to spray it but it built up a residual instead.
Our Snowy Brumby Horsemanship mob has just came in and has started to knock it down already. They will be there for 4 months for the trial and we will be documenting and creating a report on this to be presented to the government and the agriculture industry.
Thank you to the Bannister estate for the trial and also to our SBH Charity for supporting.
But most of all thank you to our very special SBH Brumby Mob. We miss you but you'll be back to your Snowy River to begin work again for tours, ride teaching in Spring.

First day of winter and that's a wrap up for our riding and horsemanship lessons, and training tours here at SBH us until October.
It's been a massive season and we thank all our mob, and especially our SBH Brumbies. They are all now out into their winter reserves and enjoying the peace of their family mobs.
Yes we are gutted about the Helicopter shoot about to begin in the park. As such we are offering our advice and guidance on any who wish to take on a brumby mob. It's a huge commitment and we know very well the difficulties. So please give us a call for free advice on 0483 283 078.
Over winter we are training off site at properties who have brumbies, plus running our Serrated Tussock W**d Program.
Best of winter to all.

Brumby Sammy doing what she does best. Representing her mob and proving she is far from being a 'feral animal'.
We fight to keep what it is to be Australian. And the legend of the Snowy River and our once wild horse the brumby rings true with our partnership with Driza-Bone

built on pioneering craftsmanship, delivering enduring style and long-lasting capability.

From wild to tamed, then tamed to trained and now living the best of life together as a small mob in a high country home.
Snowy Brumbies Gypsy, Saki and Looney came walking up and followed everywhere we walked loving the interaction again. They will be given a trim and worm which we do twice a year.
And for all those who criticized us who refuse to do the hard yards and train a once wild horse, we don't care what you think, we care that all SBH brumbies for life are cared for.
And for no cost we give any who ask for advice and assistance with their training for a brumby. And we thank our charity for raising the money for us to develop a Snowy Brumby video training program in the near future. Pm or call us on 0483 283 078 anytime.
