As the school holidays come to an end, we’d like to give a huge shout out to all of our Jimboomba Pony Club riders who have made the most of their time in the saddle! 🐴💙

Whether you’ve been training hard at home, representing your schools at the Interschool State Championships, competing at the Pony Club State Dressage & Combined Training Championships, flying around the barrels, or simply enjoying some quality time with your ponies, you should all be incredibly proud of your efforts.

It’s been fantastic to see so many of our members out and about, setting goals, supporting one another, and making wonderful memories with their equine partners. Every ride, every lesson, and every competition helps build confidence, skills, and great sportsmanship.

Congratulations to all of our riders—we love seeing what you achieve and can’t wait to watch you continue to grow throughout the rest of the year.

What a fantastic few weeks it’s been for our Jimboomba Pony Club riders! 🌟🐴

Our members have been busy representing the club across a variety of disciplines, and we’re incredibly proud of everything they’ve achieved.

🏅 Starr and Poppet enjoyed a successful outing at the Toogoolawah Show.

🐎 Liv had a great Rally Day, continuing to build her skills and confidence.

🌿 Raven and Alaska put in the hard work with some Cross Country training ahead of their big competition.

💃 Chloe and Pablo competed at the Zone 1 Dressage Championships, producing two beautiful tests to finish 4th in both.

📚 Hannah and Maddy continued their progress with lessons, while Indy also spent time training and developing her partnership.

⛰️ Lily and Brax tackled some hill work before heading to the barrels, where they had an outstanding day, with Lily taking home Junior 1D and Junior 2D Champion! 🏆

🎩 Addi travelled north to compete at the Mackay Hack Championships—well done!

⭐ A huge congratulations to our riders who competed at the Pony Club Queensland State Horse Trials:
🥉 Alaska and Hiccup placed 3rd in the 12 & Under 65cm.
🎉 Raven and Nutmeg finished an impressive 5th in the 13–26 Years 65cm. Fantastic results after all the hard work!

🌟 Heidi and Grace wrapped up the fortnight in style at the Kalbar Show, taking home Champion Juvenile Rider and Reserve Champion Juvenile Rider.

Congratulations to all of our riders, families and supporters. It’s wonderful to see everyone out enjoying their horses, learning new skills and achieving their goals. We can’t wait to see what the next few weeks bring! 💙❤️

This weekend we have two fantastic combinations representing Jimboomba Pony Club at the Pony Club Queensland 2026 State Horse Trials Championships, and we couldn’t be prouder!

Competing in the 13–26 Years 65cm Class

Both riders have worked incredibly hard throughout the season, showing dedication, determination and great sportsmanship to earn their place at this prestigious event.

🌧️ Mother Nature has had other plans for us this weekend! 🌧️

After far more rain than we ordered, our grounds have decided they’d rather be a swimming pool than a pony club. Unfortunately, this means our JPC Combined Training Day will need to be postponed.

We’re sorry for any disappointment, but this one is completely out of our hands (and definitely not something even the committee can negotiate with!).

A massive thank you to all of our amazing sponsors who jumped on board to support this event. We are incredibly grateful for your support and can’t wait to showcase your generosity when we get this event up and running.

The good news? We’re already looking at alternative dates and will let everyone know as soon as we have one locked in.

Until then, stay dry, give your ponies an extra carrot from us, and keep an eye on our page for updates! 🐴

On behalf of the committee, we would like to thank Bridget for her time as President and acknowledge her service to the club during her tenure. We wish her all the best for the future.

We are also pleased to announce and warmly welcome Tash as our new President.

Over the past year, Tash has been a valuable member of our committee, stepping into a variety of roles and always being willing to lend a hand wherever needed. Her commitment to the club, positive attitude, and willingness to support our members have not gone unnoticed, and we are grateful that she has accepted the opportunity to take on this important role.

We are excited about what lies ahead and look forward to working alongside Tash as we continue to build a strong, welcoming, and successful club for all our members and families.
