Feel free to contact us anytime! Based in Australia we are happy to provide these amazing little lions when available to any person who fits our selection criteria. Based on the well known Jonquilow lines, our breeding is selective and every care is taken to ensure the Lowchen

we send to you is a happy friendly well socialised family friend. Established in 1971, over the years we have been involved in various breeds such as Shih-Tzu, American Cocker Spaniels, Greyhounds, Shetland Sheepdogs, Collie Rough and Smooth, Border Collies, Australian Kelpies, Maltese, Fox Terriers (Wire) and Lowchen. But Lowchen are now our sole canine love - we hope you too can have a love affair with a Kilgarrin Lowchen. Dogs currently being campaigned are Ch. Kilgarrin Shake And Fingerpop (Debra White), Ch. These hypoallergenic puppies are raised in our home with our children. They are well socialised and have had various exposures to different surfaces and environments. . They have started their grooming, crate and toilet training.

✅no shedding
✅small dogs (5-7kgs fully grown)
✅trainable and biddable
✅lifetime breeder support

All puppies have a clean bill of health from the vet, as well as their first vaccine and microchip. They have had regular internal and external parasite treatments (worms, fleas and ticks). They will have DNA proof of parentage and Dogs Australia registration. Both parents have current health clearance (patella’s, heart, respiration), awaiting DNA results for PRA (expected to be clear). This litter is expected to be a split litter.

PSA - ✨We don't breed for colour✨

Ethical breeding requires breeders to consider breeding animals holistically. In Lowchen there are no colours which can impact the dogs physical health or wellbeing (no merles, dilutes aren't prolific, and albinism isn't common). We also don't breed for extreme white which can produce deafness.

Because of this, any colour can be bred with any colour to produce any colour, and the quality of the dog is placed at the forefront. This can make for exciting surprises in the whelping box!

However, you, as a potential puppy buyer, should not be requesting a specific colour.

There are unethical breeders who will breed exclusively for colour and overlook the health of the dogs and their potential offspring. There are unethical breeders who will introduce a cross of a different breed to bring in another colour. This is not us. This is not anyone we work with.

With puppy mills, puppy farms, puppy factories and backyard breeders becoming the vast majority of how puppies enter the world, unethical practices have become normalised. Including ordering a puppy like it's an item on a McDonald's menu.

Our dogs are predictable.
Our dogs are sound of mind.
Our dogs are sound of body.
Our dogs ARE NOT fast food or fast fashion.

If you are a puppy buyer who wants a specific colour have a good long think about why.

A good dog is any colour, but breeding for colour never makes a dog good.
