Hello Inverloch.

Absoutely thrilled to welcome Dr Katia to Inverloch Heatlhcare . Katia will be joining us from Tuesday 13th October. Katia is an experienced General Practitioner with an interest in Lifestyle Medicine, who takes a comprehensive, integrative medicine approach to provide deeply personalized care. Backed by extensive international experience in paediatrics, she has an interest in women’s health—guiding patients from early adolescence through post-menopause.
She is a GP who combines thorough health assessments and chronic disease management with a strong emphasis on nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being, balancing necessary medication with lifestyle modifications to help her patients thrive at every stage of life.
Katia is joiing Inveroch Healthcare full time for the next six months.
Katia is happy to see existing and new patients.
Appts can be booked for new patients from Monday by calling the clinic and now for existing patients via hotdoc

Hello Inverloch,
The current Telstra outage will be impacting many of our patients this morning.
The clinic phones are not affected but text message reminders for appts, e-script delivery and other outgoing messages may be not be received.
Hopefully this will sorted out shortly.

Telstra customers, as well as customers of mobile providers that use Telstra's network, have flooded outage detection websites with reports.

2026 Flu vaccines have arrived

Free seasonal influenza vaccine is funded under the National Immunisation Program (NIP) for the following groups at higher risk of complications from influenza:
-people aged six months to less than five years (can be given at the same time as childhood vaccines)
-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged six months and older
-pregnant women (can be given at any stage of each pregnancy)
-people aged 65 years and older (a vaccine that is specifically designed to produce a higher immune response is available for this group).
-people aged six months and older with medical conditions putting them at increased risk of severe influenza and its complications.

Hello Inverloch,
You will now all be aware of the sudden closure of Leongatha Healthcare. As a result we have had to close our hocdoc booking platform temporarily. For our existing patients, please call the clinic or pop in to make an appt. This will be back up in coming days.
We are working with all the other GP clinics locally on supporting the Leongatha community and ensuring that care can be provided to patients.
We do have limited availablity for new patients with Dr Scott Freeman and Dr Martn Hodgson. Please call the clinic to enquire.
This is a very stressful time for our broader comunity and we ask for patience and kindness from all as our phones are working overtime.
