🐾 Winter Grooming Matters 🐾

As the weather gets cooler, it’s easy to think your pet doesn’t need grooming as often but regular grooming during the colder months is just as important for their comfort, health, and wellbeing.

Here’s why:

❄️ Prevents Matting

When coats are left too long, they can become matted especially with moisture from rain or morning dew. Mats pull on your pet’s skin, cause discomfort, and can even lead to skin infections.

🧼 Keeps Skin Healthy

Regular grooming removes dirt, dead hair, and helps the skin breathe. In winter, pets can still develop dry, flaky, or irritated skin if not properly maintained.

🌡️ Maintains Proper Insulation

A well maintained coat actually keeps your pet warmer than an overgrown, matted one. Grooming helps the coat do its job properly by allowing even insulation.

🐶 Comfort & Hygiene

Long hair around paws, sanitary areas, and ears can trap moisture, mud, and bacteria leading to odours and potential health issues.

✂️ Easier, Less Stressful Grooms

Keeping up with regular appointments means shorter, more comfortable grooming sessions for your pet no big shave downs needed.

💛 Our Recommendation:

Maintain a regular grooming schedule (every 4–8 weeks depending on breed and coat type) to keep your pet happy, healthy, and comfortable all year round.
