Are you a Vet Nurse / Vet Tech looking for a change in 2026?
Howard Springs Vet Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic, qualified vet nurse to join our team. (Minimum Cert IV and available to work in Australia)
We are a purpose-built, mixed practice clinic and we see a wide variety of cases from small animals (70%), equine work (30%) as well as goats, cows, camels, crocodiles, wallabies and birds to spice up the day.
This is certainly not a clinic where you will be stuck on reception or cleaning all day. Our nurses take x-rays and do CT scans, monitor anaesthetics, perform routine dental scale and polishes, blood draws and placing animals on fluids in preparation for surgery.
Working with us, you will assist and often scrub into a range of surgeries including TPLOs, fracture repairs, laparoscopes, endoscopes, and ex laps, as well as a variety of equine surgeries including arthroscopes, geldings and gastroscopes.
Our new, state of the art equine surgical facility, with CT scanner (for both small and large animals) is taking the practice to the next level!
We are looking for someone who is passionate, hardworking and wants to provide gold standard care to our patients. A fun and positive attitude will make for a great fit with the team.
Although preferred, you do not need to have equine experience or have worked with the equipment we have in-clinic, as we are happy to train the right candidate that shows the enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
