Our next meeting is drawing near and will be held on the 15th of July! For this meeting we’re excited to announce that Luke Nettheim from Beaches Scaly Beasts will be joining us for our July meeting!

Luke will be sharing his journey through the reptile hobby — from his early days as a beginner keeper through to the keeping methods and philosophies he uses today.

He’ll also discuss some of the incredible species he works with, along with the unique challenges and lessons they’ve presented along the way.

Whether you’re new to the hobby or a long-time keeper, this is a meeting you won’t want to miss!

It’s pretty crazy to look at all the changes in the various h**p rooms/garage/homes I’ve had too.

I used to pillage so many melamine cover sheets from work to make racks and cages myself.

I’m just making this post so it’s a little memory bank in one post.

I was just trying to find a photo through the archives to show a friend and came across so many photos of good animals and a younger me.

It’s pretty cool to be able to look back through all the animals and changes I’ve had through the hobby. This is but the tip of the iceberg.

A few of the greens looking nice lately. I’ve managed to confirm some genders which is nice. I’ve only got one yet to be determined. Of course that one’s name is Lemon.. thinking female on that one.

First photo is Banana after a meal just now. Confirmed female.

Second is avocado with the blue on neck (and elsewhere). Confirmed male.

Third is Lime looking tiny in his new home. Confirmed male. For reference this box is 120/60/75cm. He stretches out and roams heaps so it’s nice to give him space and see him use it.
