Receptionist/Animal Attendant - Alysa

New to the team! I'm loving every minute of getting to spend my days alongside the Woofy's team getting to help and care for all our beautiful patients and clients. As much as its not all getting to cuddle puppies and kittens that is 100% a perk!

Outside of the clinic Alysa enjoys spending time napping with Zohan (Even though he snorers Super loud), hanging out with friends, she also enjoys going out for a bit of karaoke from time to time! (She got the Talent from her dad Chris Aka Woofy!)

Chris has a love of animals that has seen him work in the Veterinary industry for most of his adult life (Over 20 years).
He finds working with pets very fulfilling and is sure he will be working with them for many years to come.

Rat bait is commonly used to control rodents but can be extremely dangerous if your pet accesses it.
Both cats and dogs are at risk of rat bait poisoning!
The baits themselves are designed to be appealing for animals to eat. There is also a risk of poisoning if an animal eats a rodent that has recently consumed rat bait.
Rat bait poisoning can cause a variety of symptoms, including bleeding, weakness, lethargy, bruising and coughing. Due to the nature of the toxin, these signs often don’t show up until severe internal damage has already occurred.
If you think your pet has eaten rat bait, don't wait for symptoms to develop.

Contact us, or an after-hours an emergency clinic straight away. Early treatment can make a significant difference.

• Store all rat bait securely out of reach
• Use pet-safe alternatives for rodent control when possible
• Treat any cases of rodent ingestion as potential rat bait poisoning, unless you are 100% sure that the rodent has not ingested rat bait!
