If you'd like your horse to enjoy a more natural, healthy, and happy lifestyle, we have space for two horses (preferably together ) to join our happy herd and enjoy a little piece of horsey heaven. ❤️
We do things a little differently here. We may not be the biggest or fanciest agistment property, but time and time again our owners tell us their horses have never been more relaxed, content, or happy.
After two weeks of wet weather, it was wonderful to finally see the sun shining this morning. As I rode in the arena overlooking the paddocks, I found myself reflecting on why we don't offer individual day paddocks.
Watching the horses leave their individual night yards and head out across 30 acres was a beautiful reminder. They were trotting out and kicking up their heels , no mud, enjoying the fresh green pick, having a good roll, scratching with their best mates, snoozing under a tree, and simply enjoying the freedom of being a horse.🐎🌿
Over the years, I've noticed that when my own horses are allowed natural movement and social interaction, many behavioral issues reduce. They become calmer, happier, and more enjoyable to work with. Injuries are less because they're not playing through fences with boredom , their gut health benefits from being able to forage on a variety of grasses and roughage, and their hooves stay healthier than when standing in small muddy yards. This is my personal view gained over 40 years and why I like to offer this option to other horse owners . I totally understand that it is not suitable for every horse or viable for every owner .
And as for the humans, I'm proud to say we have the most friendly, chilled supportive, and helpful group of horse lovers around. Whether it's a horsey chat, a laugh after a busy day, or riding together on weekends, there's a real sense of community here.
👉Please note: We do not offer full care. From May to September, owners are required to feed and rug their horses daily. However, our agisters are a wonderful bunch who work together and help each other out where they can, making the travel commitment a little less .
We're conveniently located just 1 km off the New England Highway, making us an easy stop for those travelling back and forth for work or school drop offs to Tmba from the Highfields , Gowrie Junction, Meringandan , North Toowoomba Areas
