Last but definitely not least, helping us wrap up our May puppysits at Paradise Pampered Pet Sitting, Paws in Paradise!💜🐶🐾💜✨

Miss Breeze checked in for her luxurious 10-day, 9-night "Pawsome Getaway" late last month/early this month — and let’s just say, she settled in so well we started wondering if she’d changed her address!😄🏡🐶

She spent two fun-filled days hanging out with the ever-charming Mr Louie, which she absolutely loved (basically a holiday romance... no doubt😆🐶💕).

We also had a special half-day visit from Mr Zac and Mr Noodles 🌟🐶🐶🌟, turning the house into a full-blown doggy social club. Amazingly, there were zero complaints... except perhaps regarding the fairness of snack distribution 🍖😂.

The days were packed with backyard shenanigans (including zoomies at speeds that definitely exceeded local limits 🚀💨), generous toy "sharing" (otherwise known as organised toy theft 🧸😇), elite-level couch cuddles 🛋️💤, and some highly strategic food negotiations with Auggie... who may or may not have accidentally donated a few snacks along the way 👀🍽️😂.

Safe to say, Miss Breeze treated her stay less like a holiday and more like she was conducting a routine inspection of her property 🐕👑✨.

A huge thank you to Jåcinta, Shiloh and Auggie for holding down the fort and helping finish off this little adventure for Miss Breeze while we headed off to enjoy our long-awaited holiday 🌴✈️☀️. We couldn't have done it without you — and we're fairly certain Miss Breeze agreed... especially with those extra treats she got to share with Auggie! 😉🍖🐾❤️

Meet Mr Zac and Mr Noodles — two very sweet little puppas who popped in for a half-day visit late last month … and clearly decided it just wasn’t long enough!🥰😄🐶🐶

They loved it so much they’ve already booked their return tickets and will be officially joining my new Hush Puppa daycare crew late next month when I’m back from holidays (someone cue the confetti! 🎉🐶🐾).

During their stay, they got to hang out with the ever-popular Mr Louie (on his 4-day holiday — basically a seasoned guest now living his best life at his 2nd home whenever possible!😆😎🐕) and the lovely Miss Breeze, who was enjoying her extended 10-day vacay like the queen she is!👑🐶

There were plenty of sniff-and-greets, backyard high-speed zoomies, and some very competitive “shotgun” battles for the best lounging position ownership!🛋️😂 Plus, a few highly confidential meetings about snack distribution and toy ownership…🫣🐾🐶🌟

Mr Louie came for a 3 day/2 night holiday late last month which turned into a 4 day/ 3 night — long stay with a super special BIG adventure!😄🐾

Before heading off on his very important mission, Mr Louie had a play date with Miss Breeze and also squeezed in a half-day visit play date with Mr Zac and Mr Noodles — busy social calendar for this little adorable puppa, as always! 🌟🐶🐶🐶🐶🌟

I was so lucky to be trusted to take him along for a very special visit to meet our brand new granbaby, little Brooklyn Alexandra, who was just 3 weeks old 🍼👶💖 (Mr Louie took his “gentle puppa” duties very seriously… 😇🐶).

He absolutely loved playing with our granbabies Izzy and Maddi — plenty of cuddles, games, and probably a few sneaky attempts to join in all the fun and eat their leftovers when he could too!🤣🫣🦴🌭🐕. And when it came to little Brookie, he was very keen to say hello… lots of curious sniffs and soft tail wags 🥹🐾💕

He also caught up again with his new bestie Miss Maisie with lots of playing in her huge backyard — chasing balls together like it was a full-time job (no breaks, no negotiations, just pure commitment 🎾🐶💨😂).

Safe to say, Mr Louie didn’t just fit into our extended family — he moved in like he pays the bills 😆💁‍♀️🐶 Equal parts puppa babysitter, full-time entertainer, and certified 100% good boy… with just a tiny side hustle in snack supervision when Miss Maisie isn’t looking! 👀🍖🐾✨

Meet Mr Ollie and Mr Dusty, two very handsome puppas 🐶🐶💙 who joined me for a full-day puppysit late last month so their fur-pawrents could head off to enjoy a full-day Fraser Island adventure! 🚙🏝️☀️

While their humans were off exploring, Mr Ollie and Mr Dusty had their own very important agenda to attend to: backyard patrols 🐾, strategic playtime sessions 🎾, quality control inspections of the yard 🌿, and of course, plenty of well-earned naps indoors 😴💤.

Both boys were on their absolute best behaviour and were an absolute pleasure to spend the day with 🥰. They mastered the perfect balance between "Let's go play!" 🤩🐶💨 and "Actually, a nap sounds better" 😴😂. One minute they were zooming around the backyard like furry little race cars, and the next they were snoozing away as if they'd just completed a marathon 🐕💨➡️💤.

There were plenty of tail wags, happy faces, and adorable moments throughout the day ❤️🐾. Thankfully, neither of them questioned my qualifications as Chief Treat Distributor, Professional Belly Rub Provider, and Executive Nap Supervisor 🤣🍖.

By the time their fur-pawrents returned from their island adventure, both boys had successfully completed a very busy day of playing, relaxing, being ridiculously handsome, and ensuring I received adequate levels of doggy companionship 🥰🐶🐶.

Thank you, Mr Ollie and Mr Dusty, for being such wonderful little gentlemen. I had an absolute ball spending the day with you both and would happily report for puppy-duty again anytime! 💙🐾✨**

Late last month I had the absolute pleasure of a return visit with this gorgeous puppa, Miss Hunni, for her 2 day/1 night house/puppysit!🏡🐶🐾🤩

As always, Miss Hunni was the perfect hostess, welcoming me into her home and immediately putting me to work as her personal cuddle provider, snack distributor, and full-time admirer 😂❤️.

Our days were filled with plenty of backyard zoomies 🏃‍♀️💨🐾, toy tug-a-war games and ball playing, Miss Hunni demonstrated that despite spending a good portion of the day napping, she can still reach impressive speeds when the mood strikes.

Speaking of naps, there were lots of those too 🥰. Miss Hunni takes her relaxation very seriously and was more than happy to ensure I never felt lonely by joining me for cuddle sessions whenever possible.🥰🤗🤩

During my stay, I also made two special visits next door to look after Miss Hunni's little best friend, Miss Sally 🐾💕. While Miss Hunni remained at home, I suspect she was carefully monitoring my comings and goings and keeping track of exactly how much time I was spending with the competition 👀😂. Thankfully, there were no formal complaints lodged, and I was greeted upon my return each time by a very happy little face!🤗🐾🐶💜

Between the zoomies, the naps, the cuddles, the neighbourhood best-friend duties, and the ongoing negotiations regarding treats 🍖😆, Miss Hunni made the whole stay an absolute joy. She is such a sweet, affectionate girl with the perfect mix of playful energy and professional-level lounging.🛋️⚡️🐶

Thank you, Miss Hunni, for once again trusting me with your important daily schedule of eating, sleeping, zooming, and being totally adorable 24/7! I can’t wait for our next adventure!💜🥰🐶🤗

🌟🐾🤫 Hush Puppa Daycare Crew – Class No. 1 – Thursday, May 21st 🤫🐾🌟

A very exciting day was had as we officially launched our brand-new Hush Puppa Daycare Crew — specially designed for our quieter, gentler, and more timid puppas who prefer calm vibes over chaos and cuddles over commotion. 🥰🐶💜

Joining our founding members, Mr Louie and Miss Breeze, was our newest little friend, Miss Hunni, attending her very first full day! 🌸🐾

We are delighted to report that Miss Hunni absolutely nailed it! 🎉🐶 She bravely joined in the fun, explored at her own pace, and settled beautifully into the group. Everyone was incredibly proud of her. 💕

Mr Louie and Miss Breeze welcomed her like seasoned professionals, showing her all the best spots for:

🌿 Backyard adventures
☀️ Sunshine soaking
🐾 Gentle socialising
😴 Expert-level napping

Speaking of naps… little Auggie once again stepped into his role as Chief Relaxation Officer. 👶🐶💖

With his calm presence, gentle pats, and magical ability to make everyone feel safe and loved, he helped the whole crew wind down for naptime. Honestly, we're starting to suspect he may secretly be a puppy whisperer. 🤔✨

The backyard was full of happy tail wags, quiet confidence-building, and plenty of relaxed playtime. No pressure, no rush—just puppas enjoying being puppas. 🐕💜

It may have been a small crew this week, but it was a huge success! 🥰🐾

And the exciting news? Our next Hush Puppa Daycare Crew Day coming up in late June is already fully booked! 🎉🎓🐶

Looks like the quiet kids' club is becoming very popular indeed! 🤫💕🐾✨

🌟🐾🐶 Doggy Daycare Class No. 9 – Wednesday, May 20th 🐶🐾🌟

Our doggy daycare crew was a little quieter than usual... but only because some of our regular puppas were off on their own adventures! 🐾💜

Miss Peggy and Miss Pearl were both taking some well-deserved sick leave and focusing on feeling better 🤒💕, while Mr Oscar was off enjoying a glamorous holiday adventure with his fur-mum! ✈️🐶🌴 We can only assume he spent the day inspecting tourist attractions and organising holiday zoomies. 😎

That left us with our dynamic duo, Miss Breeze and Mr Louie! 🐶🐶✨ This cute pair of puppas enjoyed a perfectly balanced schedule of:

🌿 Backyard playtime
😴 Professional-level napping
🚶‍♀️ A beautiful neighbourhood walk
🍖 Being completely and utterly spoiled

Mr Louie took his role as Chief Nap Inspector very seriously, making sure every comfy spot met the highest standards. 🛋️🐾 Meanwhile, Miss Breeze supervised all outdoor activities before deciding she was having far too much fun to leave...So she upgraded her booking and stayed for a sleepover! 🤣🎉🏡🐶💕

By the end of the day, both puppas had successfully completed their training in relaxation, snack appreciation, and strategic cuteness deployment. 🥰🐾

A smaller crew, a slower pace, and a whole lot of cuddles made for another absolutely wonderful daycare day! 💜🎓🐶✨

💜🌟💜Thankyou for your service sweet Mr Shadow!💜🌟💜

Boarding was almost complete when the man in seat 27C suddenly got angry.

“You’re letting that Poodle on the plane? Look at him. He’s dirty. He smells. I’m not spending six hours sitting next to a Poodle.”

He was pointing at Shadow.

My six-year-old Poodle was lying quietly beside my seat, his head resting on a blanket, too exhausted to even lift it.

Yes, he smelled.

His paws were stained with dust.

His coat was covered in dirt.

A red medical bandage wrapped around one leg.

He looked nothing like the happy family dogs people are used to seeing online.

A flight attendant quickly walked over, ready to calm the situation.

But before she could speak, I stood up.

“Sir,” I said softly, “this Poodle just spent the last 72 hours helping search through collapsed buildings after a disaster zone rescue mission.”

The cabin fell silent.

“He helped locate eight survivors.”

I glanced down at Shadow.

“And he helped bring three missing people home to their families.”

Nobody said a word.

“We were sent straight from the rescue site to this flight. He hasn’t had a bath. He hasn’t had proper sleep. And right now, we’re taking him home because his heart is struggling and he needs emergency medical treatment.”

The man’s expression changed instantly.

I looked at Shadow’s dirt-covered coat and quietly added:

“He’s not covered in dirt.

He’s covered in the remains of someone’s worst day.”

The silence became even heavier.

Then a woman across the aisle started clapping.

A few seconds later, another passenger joined in.

Then another.

Soon the entire cabin erupted into applause.

Several people wiped tears from their eyes.

The flight attendant turned toward seat 27C and politely asked,

“Sir, would you like me to find you another seat?”

The man shook his head.

“No,” he said quietly.

Then he looked at Shadow.

“I’ll stay right here.”

The flight attendant smiled, then turned to me.

“Actually, we have two open seats in business class.”

She paused.

“And I think this hero has earned them.”

A few minutes later, Shadow was curled up on a wide leather seat, finally able to rest.

For the first time in days, his breathing seemed calm.

As the cabin lights dimmed, the flight attendant knelt beside him, gently rubbed the top of his head, and whispered:

“Thank you for your service, sweet boy.

The world is a better place because of dogs like you.” ❤️🐾

👀🫣Goodbye May-that month went so quick!👀🫣

Thanks for the muddy paws, the endless zoomies, the missing socks, and enough dog hair to knit another dog!🫣😳😂

🎉🌟Welcome June - please slow down!🌟🎉

We're ready for another month of walks, belly rubs, treats, and being supervised by tiny furry managers who take their jobs very seriously.🥰🐶🤩

🎉Super exciting news🎉 Di is on holidays from the 2nd–20th June - it’s finally time for that well-earned break!🫣🤗🤩

But don't stress — Lee, Jacinta, and Auggie will be holding down the fort and doing their best to cover as many pet sits as possible!🌟🐾🐶

LOL Auggie has assured me he'll be supervising closely, although his qualifications seem to consist mainly of napping, snack inspection, puppa cuddles and looking cute. 😂🐾

Here's to another month of happy puppas, kitties, and our finned and feathered friends too! 🐶🐾🐱🐦🦜🐠

May June be filled with wagging tails, happy purrs, chirpy greetings, splashy adventures, and plenty of cuddles. Here's to a pawsome month ahead for all our furry, feathered, and finned family members!✨💜🐶💜

Miss Indie, Miss Sophie & Mr Jason's 4 Day / 3 Night Puppysit Extravaganza 🐾🎉🐶

What a fur-tastic few days it was! Four days and three nights of non-stop fun, friendship, and enough fur to knit several extra dogs. 😂🐕✨

Miss Indie, Miss Sophie and Mr Jason threw themselves into the action with backyard zoomies, ball chasing, playful wrestling matches, and laps around the yard at speeds that surely broke a few canine speed records — all before their fur-parents had even left the building! 🫣😆💨🎾🐶🐾

When the excitement finally caught up with everyone, Auggie stepped into his important role as Director of Nap-Time Cuddles & Fur Distribution. 😴❤️🐾 He made sure every nap included maximum snuggles and left everyone wearing at least a little extra fur. 🤩👀🌟

Night-time brought a whole new challenge: Competitive Bed Hogging Championships. 🛏️🏆 Somehow, despite there being plenty of room in the bed, I ended up as the hotdog in a furry dog sandwich, clinging to a tiny corner while each puppa claimed their preferred spot. 😆 One at my head, one at my hip, and one at my feet! 😆🌭🐕🐕🐕 Stretched out in luxurious comfort, the dogs unanimously agreed that personal space was definitely highly overrated! 💯🤦‍♀️🫣👀

We also paid a special visit to Miss Indie’s furry sister, Miss Molly, for plenty of cuddles, a tasty feed, and litter tray cleaning duties. 🐱💕 Miss Molly graciously accepted our services, enjoyed the attention, and made sure we knew exactly who was in charge! 😸✨

Miss Indie was then treated to one of our amazing beach walks, where she enjoyed exploring the sand, sniffing all the interesting seaside smells, and soaking up every moment of her special adventure before heading back to the crew at home. 🌊🐾☀️🏖️ Nothing beats happy paws, salty air, and a wagging tail!

The fur was flying everywhere! Every cuddle came with a complimentary coating of dog glitter, every breeze carried a fluffy surprise, and somehow there was fur in places that defy all logic. 🐕☁️🤣

Keeping this furry circus running smoothly was Miss Arla, the undisputed Boss Dog. 👑🐶 She supervised the zoomies, monitored the wrestling championships, and maintained order amongst the fluffy chaos with a single look.👀🤩🐶🫣

By the end of the stay, we — and the house — were covered in fur, surrounded by fur, finding fur in our coffee (probably 🤣), and loving every minute of it... well, I was anyway! 😆

A wonderful puppysit filled with wagging tails, happy faces, cuddles, chaos, and LOTS and LOTS of fun and fur! ✨🐾💕🐕✨
