🐾🎓 OUR FIRST EVER LEVEL ONE HAS STARTED! 🎓🐾

Today officially marked Week One of our very first Levelled Training Class — Level One Beginner Obedience! 🥳🐶

And safe to say… everyone was VERY excited to be there! 😂

Week One is always the craziest and often the hardest. It’s a brand-new environment, new dogs, new people, new smells and SO many exciting things happening around them. Despite all of that, every single dog did such a fantastic job! 👏💕

Today we started building those important foundations, working on:

🐾 Name recognition
🐾 Sit
🐾 Marker words
🐾 Luring
🐾 Engagement & communication

Then everyone headed home with their weekly homework AND their Training Bingo sheets! 🏆🎯

A few owners have already declared that IT’S GAME ON! 😂😂

I absolutely LOVE seeing everyone so excited and motivated to get training at home. The Bingo Challenge is all about making training fun, encouraging consistency and giving everyone some extra goals to work towards throughout the four weeks.

Now the question is… how many Bingo squares will I be ticking off next week?! 👀✅

I can’t wait to see everyone’s progress!

I’ve had quite a few requests to bring our popular Settle Sessions to Maryborough, so this Saturday we’re hosting our FIRST EVER Maryborough Settle Session! 🐶💛

So… what exactly is a Settle Session?

Simply put, we’re teaching your dog that being out in public doesn’t always mean GO, GO, GO!

We teach them how to settle, observe their surroundings and simply do nothing.

This session can be fantastic for:

🐾 Reactive dogs — whether from excitement, frustration or nervousness
🐾 Puppies learning neutrality in new environments
🐾 Dogs needing gentle, controlled socialisation
🐾 Rescue dogs who may lack confidence or struggle in unfamiliar environments
🐾 Excitable dogs who find it difficult to switch off
🐾 Dogs you’re hoping to eventually take to cafés, markets or other public spaces
🐾 Owners wanting to build their dog’s confidence and strengthen their bond

Every dog can benefit from learning how to do nothing.

Socialisation doesn’t always mean letting dogs play together. Sometimes one of the most valuable skills we can teach our dogs is how to exist calmly around other dogs, people and everyday distractions without needing to interact with them.

And this class isn’t just about your dog! You’ll also leave with tools, tips and exercises you can continue practising at home and out in public.

The goal is to make taking your dog places feel less like a massive task and more like something you can relax and enjoy together. 💛

🎉🐾 Happy Birthday Again, Quincy! 🐾🎉

Today was round two of Quincy’s birthday celebrations at Doggy Daycare, and what a fantastic day it was! ☀️

The weather was absolutely perfect—not too hot, not too cold—just right for a day full of fun with friends. The dogs enjoyed plenty of tug-of-war, games of fetch, chasing each other around the yard, and playing with all their favourite toys.

There were lots of wagging tails, happy faces, and plenty of excitement as everyone made the most of the beautiful sunshine. It was wonderful to see all the dogs having so much fun together and enjoying another special day celebrating Quincy.

Thank you for sharing your birthday with us, Quincy. We hope you had the best day! 🥳🐶💛
