HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DOG DAY!!

Today is a day to celebrate everything we love about dogs, the joy they bring to our lives, the laughs they give us, the comfort they provide and, of course, all those little moments that make having a dog so special.

Whether they’re zooming around the backyard, curled up on the couch, making us smile with their silly antics or simply happy to be by our side, dogs have a wonderful way of making life better.

Meet Frankie and Ned!
These cuties went on an adventure last week and Ned ended up with some nasty cobblers pegs stuck in the skin on his belly! His Mum pulled out what she could but thought it best to get a vet to remove the rest.
These pesky little cobblers pegs can travel in under the skin and causes abscesses, pain and infection and depending on where they are located on your pet can cause different reactions.
Regular grooming and checking your pet after outdoor excursions is always recommended and always best to get them checked out if you suspect an issue before a more severe problem develops!

Meet Benji and Lexi!

These two visited our clinic yesterday for their vaccinations!
Vaccinations are the key to your dog's health to keep them protected against preventable diseases such as Canine distemper, Canine hepatitis, Canine parvovirus and kennel cough.

Remember your vet is best placed to advise on what vaccination your companion animal requires, so be sure to have regular check ups and follow your vet's advice!
