🐴 TOP TACK TIPS🐴

There’s never a dull moment when you’ve got friends with four hooves and long faces — and one of the many ways they keep us busy is tack cleaning!

Each of our horses have their own individually fitted bridle and saddle - which is carefully fitted by professionals to ensure comfort and correct anatomical fit for both horse and riders. Ongoing fits and checks ensures that as the horses change between seasons - their equipment does as well.

When it comes to our horses, only the best will do! 🧡

To keep everything safe and in top condition, all of our tack is regularly cleaned and treated with leather balm or a leather balsam. And we have a firm favourite in leather balsam — Carr & Day & Martin Belvoir Leather Balsam. Honestly, the smell alone makes the whole job worthwhile… second only to the smell of horses themselves, of course! 😄🐎

A little love and care for our gear means our beautiful horses and our clients stay safe and comfortable (and looking their best) at every session.

🐴It’s Farrier Friday! 🐴

Today we’re showing some well-deserved love and appreciation for the incredible team of farriers who keep our horses happy and healthy.

No hoof, no horse — and we couldn’t believe in that saying more. Every one of our horses has an individual farrier plan tailored to their needs, with visits every 4 to 6 weeks to keep those hooves in top shape. 🐎

Some of our horses wear shoes, some go barefoot, and some transition between the two — because at , it’s always about what’s best for them.

A new pair of shoes every 4 to 6 weeks sounds like a dream!

It’s demanding, back-breaking work, and we are endlessly grateful for the skill, care and dedication our farrier crew brings — from our tiniest ponies to our tallest horses, every hoof and frog 🐸 gets the attention it deserves. 🙏

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day 🌸

An enormous happy Mother’s Day to every mum in our lives and in our beautiful community — from our horsey mums to our kiddy mums, our volley mums to our puppy mums, our mare mums who raised our foals who are our horses now, as well as our mum’s mum, future mum’s and mum’s to be. We see you. We thank you and we love you ❤️

We thank you for your time, your patience, and your unconditional love through every season — and every major weather event. 🌧️☀️

We love that you turn up and show up — for our community, our kids, our horses, and our animals.

For the never-ending poo picks, the videos, the pictures, the drop-offs and fetches, and the longest of waits… because there is always one more thing to do at the stables - it’s a place where time simply works differently. 🐴

Today we celebrate you — and every quiet, muddy, beautiful thing you do. Not just today, but every day. 💛

🌙 After the horses 🐴 , ponies, pigs 🐷 and chickens 🐓 have had their dinner — waters filled, hay given out — the sun goes down, the moon rises and our nightlife at comes alive. 🐸🌿
