When performance and fertility need to work hand in hand 🐴✨”

One of the topics that generated plenty of discussion at our recent equine nutrition workshop with Rebecca Watson at Christine Crawford's Tack Room was the role of EnerGene-Q10 in breeding horses.

CoQ10 is well known for its role in cellular energy production, but it can also be a valuable nutritional tool for breeding stock.

For stallions, CoQ10 may help support s***m motility, making it particularly relevant for performance stallions balancing a breeding season alongside competition or racing commitments.

For mares, CoQ10 may help support reproductive health and has been associated with improved conception outcomes.

As always, nutrition is just one piece of the fertility puzzle, but understanding how targeted supplementation can support breeding horses is an important part of the conversation.

What a wonderful afternoon spent with a small group of passionate horse owners at ‘s brand new tack room, talking all things equine nutrition and horse health 🖤

We were delighted to have Plusvital Chief Technical Officer, Rebecca Watson, join us from Ireland to share her extensive knowledge on the fundamentals of equine nutrition, the role targeted supplementation can play in supporting performance horses, and how good nutrition underpins the wellbeing of every horse.

These smaller, intimate gatherings create the perfect opportunity for meaningful conversations, questions, and learning, and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us for such an engaging discussion.
