Last day!!
The Virtus Global Games Auction closes tonight at 6pm sharp and the GoFundMe Page closes an hour after the Auction, at 7pm.

The goal had been $70,000.00.
I think we will end up with around $85,000.00 by 6pm tonight. I cannot express to everyone how wonderful I think you all are!
The Australian Virtus Global Games team is pictured below and so from left to right is Sui Watts, Andrew Driffield, Sarah Sherwood. To the three of you, congratulations. It is such a hard won and wonderful honor to represent your country in international competition.
A few house keeping notes:
1. The auction will crash shut at 6pm tonight. The winning bidders will be issued almost immediately an email confirming that you are the winning bidder. That will be 221 emails.
2. Invoices will be a seperate email being produced by Nominate staff or namely, Natasha over the weekend. Natasha will try and have 221 invoices sent out to all of the winning bidders on Saturday. Natasha would like to take Mother's Day off which is this Sunday!
3. Payment can be done by Credit Card or Direct Transfer. At the moment, there should be a link to Credit Card Payment included with the email in which you recieve your invoice. At the moment, Direct Transfer details will not be on this Invoice email. We are working on this but maybe we will need to send a third email to all winners which gives Direct Transfer details. So that is 663 emails being sent by Nominate so far. Yikes!
4. We would like everyone to please pay by 5pm this coming Monday 15th May.
5. So there should then be another 221 receipts issued acknowledging payment. Credit Card receipts will be instant. Direct Transfer receipts will be completed manually by Ryans. Some of the bigger transfers may take a few days to clear. We will try and have all direct transfer receipts done by the following Monday 22nd May (at the latest!).
6. We will need to email all of our 221 Auction winners to our Sponsors, acknowledging full payment and authorising release of the products and/or items. This will be super complicated for us because some items are the same but will have different winning prices. Oh my goodness!
7. We will then need to email all of the winners with contact details of our Sponsors so that they can go ahead and collect their hard won prizes. That will be another 221 emails. Ryans will not be collecting and distributing product other than what we have donated ourselves. Winners will negotiate with our Sponsors for the transport of items or product that they have won on the auction.
8. This is a terrifying process and we will try and make it more efficient. Please keep in mind, we have done this with love and soul and it is about to be outrageously successful. Nevertheless, we are complete amateurs. Just bear with us. We will get there in the end. Right now, we are staring down the barrel of producing some 1,200 emails to wind this up. Oh my goodness.
So the auction is exploding at the moment and the first bidder today was Hamish Barker at 3.58am!! Thank you Hamish. There is lots of room on the items especially in the arena surfaces, the stallion service fees, the saddles and the accomodation and holidays. We did add two new items yesterday. An Equestrian Life Cap autographed by the two Dutch riders, Hans Peter Minderhoud and Edward Gal. Edward Gal produced Totilas and together, they rewrote world Dressage. It is said that we will never see another combination like this for another 100 years. This cap is on page one in the auction. The second item is from Peter Haynes Perspectives who does bring an artistic approach to photography and video production that is rarely seen. This addition is hiding on page eight.
