Halado Park

The two c**ts getting some little person attention. At 2yo and 3yo, it's a great example of their temperaments - calm, friendly and respectful.

They are nearly finished shedding out their coats and have had another growth spurt. Max in particular is looking phenomenal right now, but that's not to say George should be ignored!

They will come in for a brief handling prep soon to learn about tying up and float loading and we'll get some photos and footage for advertising.

If either of these boys has caught your eye, now is the time to get in early before they are listed on the market this spring!

It's foaling season!!!

When it comes to monitoring mares for foaling, technology has come a LONG way in the last ten years!

Here at Halado Park, we have been using the Smart foal system in conjunction with cameras for several years now and it works really well for us!

We do however continue to hire out Foalguard alarms to those who can't justify buying their own, as well as foaling kit and oxygen for high risk cases.

Alarms are available to hire at a rate of $30 per week.

Foaling down services are slowly being offered again to selected cases only as we are still in the process of developing post foaling facilities and are very limited in this regard. Preference given to short term clients.

We're coming into Spring and the two c**ts, Max and George, are maturing into very impressive young horses!

Both of these c**ts are on the market and waiting for their forever homes, but we are holding off advertising until they have shed those fluffy winter coats! We don't believe in chasing a quick sale... the perfect match is much more important.

For the ones who have dreamt of owning a Lipizzaner based on childhood fantasies and watching the Spanish Riding School stallions, Max is your dream horse. He has the look, the power, but most importantly, the temperament. His dam is one of our school horses and has been ridden by riders as young as 3yo.

George is a year younger and has personality plus! He will also have The Look, is very correct in type, and oozes presence. He will be more suited to a more experienced rider who can mould his ideas and physical talent into something special, but also exhibits the loyalty that the breed is known for.

Both c**ts have inherited their sire's trademark strength and bone. They have been raised in open pastures with a focus on growing out with top quality care and nutrition.

They are both being offered entire at this time as as they give a good range of options for the aspiring breeder.

For any early enquiries before they are openly advertised in Spring, send a message through and arrange to meet these beautiful boys!

Price guide high teens.

George's turn in the spotlight!

He really is going to mature into a top quality stallion! He is only a baby still, being a rising 2yo, but he is an old soul with that Lipizzaner wisdom about him.

This is a horse for the future for the more ambitious rider, or a breeder wanting to add quality, strength and bone into their breeding programme.

Max is a delightful young c**t who is growing out nicely while he waits for his perfect person to come along.

He is just the right mix of type and temperament to make someone's dreams come true.

His dam is regularly used as a school horse for all levels of rider, even beginners and children. Max shows all the signs of following in her footsteps, while showing the presence and strength of his sire.

It's been a long time coming, but we finally have an outdoor toilet for the horse area!

And in the background, excavations continue on the old sheep yards.

What will end up going there? 😉
