Meet Rhonda 🐶
Rhonda got up to no good recently, and ate a few too many table scraps with cooked bones 😱
Rondah regretted her choices when she started vomiting up blood, didn't want to eat and was having severe tummy pains.
Luckily for lil Ron, her mum brought her in immediately to investigate why she was feeling so unwell! After blood work and x-rays, her treatment plan was intravenous fluid therapy, anti-nausea medication and time in our hospital to rehydrate & hopefully start eating again! 🤞
Thankfully this time she lucked out & didn't require surgery to remove the bones! Once Ronny started feeling better, she managed to keep some chicken down and passed some pretty graphic contents after 24 hours 😱
The more miss Rhonda started to feel better, the squeaker she became in hospital - so our vets & nurses knew she was on the right track!
This scally wag got to go home after two full days in hospital, and she is back to mischief on her farm (hopefully only eating the food she is meant to have from now on 🙊).
