Dusty visits The Zen Den to increase the size of his world! Dusty was rescued and from his previous lack of experience, he didn’t present with a lot of typical dog behaviours.

The Zen Den has helped him to learn to use his nose to find things (instead of just finding things with his vision) and find joy in something other than just affection from people.

With the guidance of his sister Wh***ey, Dusty is growing his doggy personality and we are so glad that we get to see this growth in each Zen Den session.

Dusty has also done some solo sessions and it has been so rewarding to see that his confidence has expanded.

Dusty also loves to visit The Zen Den to see Emily 🤭

When we opened Whisker & Roots, we started off as a humble online store with occasional presence at local markets and expos.
We then had an amazing opportunity to open a store in Hahndorf and we couldnt say no.
We then added a little canine enrichment room out the back… and since then it’s changed (for the better!) the direction our business has taken.

Honestly, we should have seen this coming 😅

So we’re making it official!!

Whisker & Roots is now “The Zen Den” 🎉

New name, new logo, same shop, same people and all the same goodies for your dogs and cats.

You’ll be seeing some new signage, website changes etc over the next couple weeks!😊
Now, about that giveaway..

Long weekend plus today recap!
We met so many lovely dogs over the weekend thank you all so much for popping in, trying out our escape room, Zen Den sessions or having a browse through our store 🥰
