Catch up
I am still working on trying to find a safe place to catch up but im thinking its not going to be in the sunshine coast area?
Someone was fined $860+ for having their dog off leash less then 50mtr inside the leash area.
I prefer no dog parks as anything can be picked up in these areas.
Anyone know anyone with a private property with a dam maybe willing to let Eureka Shepherd family and friends catch up?

Another year +1 day has pasted and we celebrate our Gorgeous Bandit (who is no longer with us) her 1st and last litter BH1 27.08.2021
5 years old already!
How many turned out like their mother Houdini, who never watched where she was going as she always had eyes for the other dogs while they were watching the balls/toys.
She always managed to get out, through, under or even over things she was not meant to but funny enough would just sit on the other side to say - you can't keep me in but i don't want to go any where without you!
Their Sire Hugo was an incredible farm dog that's for sure! He didn't just protect his Humans but all his farm family as well, he was incredibly patient and sweet and could be just as goofy as Bandit

Harper
Is our 3rd generation of Eureka Shepherds. Look forward to seeing her grow (not to much more already) over the next couple years as she has already surpassed her mum Rubi in weight and height
Will be a beautiful blend of Rubi and Koda
Rubi sits around 32kg
Harper hit 33.7kg today

We have thankfully been given another 12months on our lease out at Greens Creek surrounded by a dairy farm.
With a growing waitlist on Rightpaw.com.au with a couple return families i am on the hunt for another stunning bit to complement Rubi.
Her season is now due around late October early November, so here's hoping we can share and I litter in early 2027

🚨🚨 URGENT FOSTER CALL – 21 GERMAN SHEPHERDS NEED YOU 🚨🚨

TWENTY ONE. Yes, you read that right… 21 PUREBRED GERMAN SHEPHERDS are depending on us — and we cannot save them without you.

These beautiful dogs have been seized due to an excessive number of animals and are now sitting in a cold, unfamiliar pound. Many of them have had very limited exposure to the outside world and are understandably terrified.

💔 They don’t understand what’s happening.💔 They don’t deserve this. 💔 And right now, they have nowhere to go.

🐾 WHY THIS IS URGENT
We are a foster-based rescue, which means: 👉 No foster homes = no dogs saved.

We are committing to a 12+ hour trip (one way) to bring these dogs to safety — but we must have foster homes secured first.

🗓 Foster carers MUST be available to collect:
📍 Pickup: Saturday 13th June🕕 Time: 6pm–9pm (need to be available during this whole timeframe)📍 Location: Logan (SE QLD)

🐶 ABOUT THE DOGS
* Ages range approx. 1–4 years
* Purebred German Shepherds
* Likely fearful, under-socialised
* Will need patient, experienced handlers

✅ FOSTER REQUIREMENTS
To keep everyone safe, we are only able to place these dogs in homes that meet the following:
✔️ Secure yard with 5ft fencing
✔️ Experience with German Shepherds (or similar breeds)
✔️ No children (these dogs have never been around them)
✔️ No cats (or ability to fully separate)
✔️ Can live with medium/large, well-balanced dogs OR be an only dog

Happy 5th Birthday to our beautiful MH2 litter — born 06.06.21 🎉🐾

It is hard to believe five years have already passed since this gorgeous litter arrived. We were lucky enough to keep our gorgeous Rubi, originally Annika, and she has continued to be such a loved part of Eureka Shepherds.

Wishing all of Rubi’s littermates the happiest birthday today. We hope they are all being spoilt and loved as much as they deserve.

We would absolutely love to see updated photos of everyone, and we hope to catch up with as many of you as possible at our next Eureka Shepherds get-together in June/July. 🐾

Good Morning Families!

Catch up post for any and all Eureka Shepherds!!! and those that are on the wait list or would just love to come check out our awesome dogs!

Comment your best weekend and time to catch up somewhere friendly for a few German Shepherds on the Sunshine Coast or close too. (Off Leash Beach, Large Dod Park, Oval or Sports ground)

Either during June or July and will try to make it work for majority.

Yes it will be cold for us, but it gives them a chance to burn so good winter calories with out over heating.
