This is Heirloom, he has been here for a few weeks now ...... we love him!!!
He was a green broke horse when he arived.
So we have been working on exposing him to new things, and getting him fit mentally and physically for his next chapter as an endurance horse. We thought a little cross training would be fun, well Heirloom if you choose not to be an endurance horse, you could be a fantastic eventer 🥰🥰🦄

Pretty Apple has had her foal, a beautiful little filly.

Although Apple is still a little 'standoffish' she has been very accepting of me being around the foal. If any one is good with colours, i would love your guess on this fillys colour. We don't know who the dad was, as we got her from the sales, unknowing she was pregnant.

Sunday rides in forestry on the "green" horses!

This is so important, especially when you are starting horses! I find people fixate on the horses head, yanking and pulling and honestly just creating a horse that runs on the forhand with a hard mouth.

How beautiful has the weather been the last few weeks!
Perfect riding weather!
We will be making the most of these pleasant days, because all to quickly we will be hiding in the shade by 9am.

After 3 days of hard work, the mares rest in the beautiful sun!
It is so very important to give our horses the chance to recharge and feel completely at ease in their environment.
At Flame Tree Park, we make it our mission to create relaxing safe places for our horses to just be horses 🐎

We have an opening for 1 horse right away!

•Starting/ re-start
•Youngster handling (float training, leading, groundwork etc)
•Confidence building out on trail, riding with other horses, riding in traffic
• kilometres in the saddle

Flame Tree Park is looking for a very special horse mad person!
We are looking for someone who would love to volunteer some afternoons helping with our beloved horses.

Maybe you have a horse crazy teenager who would love to learn about gentle horse training.

No experience necessary.
What is necessary 🤔 well we want a person who is passionate about horses, and wants to learn how to communicate with them in a harmonious way that is kind and very effective 😀

Although this isn't a paid position (may lead to paid work in the future!) there is the opportunity for riding lessons, outings and comps all paid for... for the right person.

So if you or someone you know is completely horse mad, fit and healthy, and has some spare time.. please feel free to to message us!
