Ula'ree Poodles

Ula'ree Poodles Poodle Puppies. Ethical breeders of Toy & Miniature Poodles carefully reared to be happy, healthy and superior pets.

Ula’ree Kennels Toy Poodles are ethical dog breeders focussed on using the considerable power all breeders have to ensure our puppies are healthy and a joy to own.

1. Our puppies are family reared so they will fit in beautifully with your family.

2. They are never in**ed, so are very unlikely to develop genetic illness. In fact, all our puppies come with a Lifetime Money-Back Health Guarantee

against serious genetic illness!

3. They are personality tested and matched to your family so it’s a perfect match for you. You also get regular photo or video updates of their progress on our page. In addition we get their toilet training off to a great start and our puppies are chew toy conditioned, crate conditioned, and well socialised. As part of the all-important socialisation, we also take care of the first clip and groom. And to prevent future injury and pain, our puppies’ dewclaws are removed when they are very small. We support our owners throughout the life of their dog. Most importantly, we provide guidance to get their crucial early puppyhood period right, setting a strong foundation for a well-balanced, happy dog for you throughout its life.

Why Does My Puppy Get the Zoomies? 🐩💨

One minute your puppy is calmly relaxing, and the next they're racing around the house or garden like they've suddenly discovered an extra gear!

These sudden bursts of activity are commonly called zoomies. They're often a completely normal part of puppy behaviour and can happen after waking up, playing, bathing, experiencing something exciting, or simply when a puppy has energy to release.

But zoomies don't always mean your puppy needs more exercise.

Sometimes puppies become extra wild when they're overtired or overstimulated. If the zoomies are accompanied by increased biting, difficulty listening, jumping, or an inability to settle, your puppy may actually need some quiet time and rest rather than another round of play.

When zoomies happen, make sure your puppy has a safe space away from slippery floors, sharp objects, stairs, or anything they could run into. Usually, the burst of energy passes quickly on its own.

Learning to recognise what happened before the zoomies can also help you understand your puppy better. Were they excited? Had they just woken up? Have they had a very stimulating day? Are they overdue for a nap?

At Ula’ree Poodles, we believe understanding normal puppy behaviour helps families respond appropriately rather than assuming every energetic moment means their puppy is being naughty.

Sometimes those crazy laps around the house are simply part of being a puppy. 🐾🤎

This is why choosing the right breeder matters.
I support my puppy families through this.

Belly Rubs, Playtime & Puppy Happiness 🐾💛

Sometimes the best puppy days are the simplest ones, some sunshine, plenty of playtime, and of course, a good belly rub. 🥰

These little moments of gentle handling, play and connection are also an important part of a puppy’s early development, helping them build trust, confidence and positive relationships with people.

And judging by that happy little face, the belly rubs are definitely a favourite! 🐩💛

Welcome to the world, little ones. 🐾🤎

Aurora has welcomed her beautiful litter of 7 puppies — 5 chocolates and 2 creams — and we’re so happy to share that mama and all seven puppies are healthy and doing well.

Aurora has settled beautifully into motherhood and is already doing an amazing job caring for her babies. Seeing her so attentive and content with her little ones is incredibly special. 🥰

For now, it’s all about warmth, milk, sleep and plenty of time tucked safely beside Mum while these tiny babies begin to grow.

We can’t wait to share more of Aurora’s beautiful seven as they develop.

Why Does My Puppy Cry at Night? 🌙🐾

The first few nights in a new home can be a big adjustment for a puppy.

Until now, they may have been sleeping close to their littermates in a familiar environment. Suddenly, they are surrounded by new smells, sounds, people, routines, and sleeping arrangements. A little nighttime crying during this transition can be completely normal.

Before assuming your puppy simply wants attention, consider what they might actually need. Young puppies may need a toilet break during the night, while others may be looking for reassurance as they adjust to their new surroundings.

A calm and predictable bedtime routine can help. Keep nighttime toilet trips quiet and uneventful, provide a comfortable and secure sleeping space, and avoid turning middle-of-the-night wake-ups into playtime.

Most importantly, remember that settling is something puppies learn. Some adjust quickly, while others need a little more time and reassurance.

At Ula’ree Poodles, we work on early routines and positive crate experiences to help give our puppies a strong foundation before they join their families. But moving into a completely new home is still a significant change, and patience during those first nights matters.

With consistency, reassurance, and time, your puppy can learn that nighttime is safe, predictable, and a time for rest. 🤎

This is why choosing the right breeder matters.

Your puppy’s name is more than just a name. It can become an important communication tool between you and your dog.

When puppies learn that hearing their name means something positive, they begin to associate it with turning towards you, making eye contact, and paying attention. This can become a valuable foundation for training, recall, and everyday communication.

Start simply. Say your puppy’s name in a happy, calm voice, and when they look towards you, reward that attention with praise, affection, or a small treat. Short, positive repetitions throughout the day can help build that association.

Try to avoid repeatedly saying their name when they’re doing something wrong. If a puppy constantly hears their name followed by frustration or correction, they may begin to associate it with something negative rather than happily giving you their attention.

Remember, the goal isn’t simply for your puppy to recognise the sound of their name. You want them to learn:

“When I hear my name, something good happens when I pay attention.”

At Ula’ree Poodles, we believe these simple early foundations can make a big difference as puppies grow. Positive communication, consistency, and patience help build a relationship based on trust and understanding.

Their name may be one of the first things you teach them, but it can become a communication skill they use for life. 🐩🐾

This is why choosing the right breeder matters. I support my puppy families through this.
