Mr Tom Cat came in for his castration and quickly won everyone over with his affectionate nature. Once he was awake, he happily accepted plenty of pats, cuddles, and smooches from the team. He proved that even the toughest tomcats can have a very soft side! ❤️🐾

Penny arrived for her desexing procedure dressed in the cutest little dinosaur outfit, making our pre-surgery chat just that little bit more adorable. 🥹

While we went through everything with her (and her humans!), Penny looked ready to take on the world—one tiny dinosaur stomp at a time. We're still not convinced she listened to a word we said... but she certainly looked the part! 😂

Desexing is an important part of preventive healthcare, helping prevent unwanted litters while reducing the risk of several reproductive diseases and supporting a long, healthy life.

A lovely surprise of beautiful wine from a wonderful client had our team smiling from ear to ear. It's never expected, but it is always so deeply appreciated.

To every single person who takes the time to drop in a card, bake a treat, bring us coffee, surprise us with chocolates, wine, or simply say "thank you"—please know it means more than you could ever imagine.

🌺 Meet Maui! 🐾💙

You may remember this handsome boy as George, but he's now officially Maui—and what a fitting name for this special little man!

Maui visited us for "the works" today: his castration, vaccination, and microchip, setting him up for a happy, healthy future.

His story is one that's close to our hearts. After being orphaned as a tiny kitten, he was lovingly hand-raised by our wonderful Nurse Molly. Now, he's found his forever home with Nurse Emma, where he'll be thoroughly loved (and probably just a little bit spoiled!).

It's incredibly rewarding to watch patients like Maui grow from vulnerable little babies into healthy, confident companions. We couldn't be happier for him and his new family.

Happy new chapter, Maui—we know you've landed exactly where you're meant to be. ❤️🐱

Red visited us today for his desexing procedure, and while it's an important day for his health, he made sure to remind everyone that cuddles are just as important. 🥹🐾

This handsome boy was an absolute sweetheart from the moment he arrived, happily soaking up every pat, cuddle, and bit of attention he could get. Safe to say he won over the entire team with his smoochy personality!

Rola is definitely one of those special ones who holds a very close place in all of our hearts. 🥹

He spent time with us when he was very young and very sick, and we’ve had the privilege of watching him grow into the gorgeous boy he is today. ❤️

Those early days created a special bond that we’ll never forget, and Rola will always have a little piece of our hearts here at GVH. 🐾💕

It’s always extra special when he comes back to visit us — a beautiful reminder of just how rewarding veterinary nursing can be. ❤️

Gary has taken over surgery.

He's reviewed today's schedule, inspected the table for maximum comfort, and has declared that all procedures will be delayed until his nap is complete. 😴👑

Unfortunately, he has ignored repeated requests to scrub in, refuses to wear a hair net, and insists that quality control is best performed lying directly where everyone else needs to work.

HR has been notified. Gary remains completely unbothered.
