Plenty of thunder and lightning around for the next few months so please make sure your pets microchip details are up-to-date. If you have moved from New South Wales and never added your pet to a Australia wide searchable database the microchip details are likely to be still only held on New South Wales government own database which is not searchable by vets out of hours or on weekends. If you're not sure, please take your dog to the vet to get them scanned to get the microchip number or if you know their microchip number you can certainly email or phone us and we can check the database to make sure your details are up-to-date. This is critical for getting lost dogs home ASAP. We see so many dogs whose microchip number is still registered to the breeder and the breeder has no idea the contact details of who they sold the puppy to. T-Shirt from Furriends Apparel👌

Edit. 🤷Held in clinic for 20hrs. Fed ,watered,walked, multiple bedding changes and cage cleans. No responsible owners searching for him so now at council for desexing and rehoming if not collected.

Male, intact Staffy, 1 year old, found at the everleigh dog park on SATURDAY and turned in to us at 5.15 this afternoon. Microchip in "Breeders" name but they don't know who they sold him to. 🤦 32976666 ASAP as he is not welcome here for long as he is dog aggressive and barking a lot and we are a vet clinic not a lost dogs home. We had 4 other stray dogs turned in today all home quickly because their owners had microchip details up to date 👌 📣📢📣📢💥📣📢

Jumping into consults talking to clients and their pets, assisting in treatments and procedures.
Monitoring patients and supporting anaesthesia
Running diagnostics and sample collection
Delivering top-notch nursing care to dogs, cats and other little mates
Working as part of a tight, supportive team that actually likes each other

Who we’re looking for
Qualified Vet Nurse (Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or Vet Tech degree)
At least 2 years’ clinic experience
A genuine soft spot for animals
Positive, reliable and ready to muck in
