Both great sports to try with your BC’s!

I'm so excited!!!!! It might mean an upcoming broken hip, but it sounds amazing.

The Siberian Husky Club of NSW is one to watch on FB, they have already been active in this sport.

Congrats to everyone involved in bringing a new sport to Dogs Australia's members.

The handsome Jax is from our 2018 litter and is the brother to our girl Frost. He is looking for a new home as life changes and his owners don’t have as much time for him they believe he deserves. It’s not been an easy decision for them but they want what’s best for him, abd we want to help them find Jax the right home (lifetime breeder support is for both our pups & their owners).

He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate on their deck each night. He’s also house trained with no toileting issues — he’ll happily chill in his bed in the lounge room when asked, or until no one is looking, then he’ll go searching for crumbs!

He’s kind-natured, friendly, social and fairly passive. He enjoys walks and loves car rides, belly rubs and cuddles. He is great with their children & cats, although the cats are pretty calm so he hasn’t had his limits tested 🤣!

They are happy to keep him until the right home can be found. He is on limited registration with Dogs Queensland and we can help transfer his papers into the new owners name.

🐶🐾 Puppy Plans for 2026 🐾🐶

Ash, our blue merle girl, is coming into season soon & we are planning to mate her with Starsky, our soft natured mottled tri coloured boy!

If successful we will expect puppies in early to mid April, and they would be old enough to go to homes in early to mid June.

Possible colours include blue merle, blue & white, black & white and tri colours.

Oreo Update:
On Dec 23 he flew to rural Western Australia to live on a farm with chickens, sheep & 3 other Border Collies - Buster, Pepper & Chloe.
We received this photo this evening from his new owner, he has settled in well & is getting along with his new family members.

After the roller coaster that was trying to find him a new home, we are so happy that he eventually found such an amazing home! Can’t wait for the next update to hear what he gets up to next.

Are you a fan of trivia? Looking for something to do on Saturday night January 17? Why not get a team together and register for the Wounded Heroes Trivia Night at the Springlake Hotel at Springfield Lakes (Brisbane).

It’s $20 per person with all money raised going towards Wounded Heroes. There will be prizes for the best themed table, as well as raffles & prizes for the trivia.

Mr Oreo has made his way to rural WA, to a farm an hour out of Geraldton! He flew out last night to Perth, and connected to Geraldton airport this morning, landing around 8am. Despite an hour delay departing Brisbane and possibly missing his midnight snack in Perth due to the timing of his connection flight, he has arrived safe & well!
He was briefly introduced to his new four legged family members & had a snack, now he is settling into his new home & is enjoying himself! Can’t wait to hear how he goes over the next year as he learns herding & grows into a lovely dog!
