We are always excited about training and helping animals and the evolution training takes to become more welfare focused each day. Not just with dogs but all animals, horses, birds, cats, zoo captives, farm animals, humansā¦
š¤Want to know more about force free, fear free, effective modern training?
We donāt use punishment.
We donāt use leash pops
We donāt use corrections
We donāt use a a ānoā āuh ahā marker or cue
We donāt use tools
We donāt use loud noises or startling
Why?
Because we donāt have to.
šInspired Canine has sound knowledge of behaviour sciences, learning theory and its application in training. We fully understand the four quadrants. We follow the science and the results āŗļø
We hold membership with professional bodies who advocate for force free fear free positive reinforcement training:
š¶Association of Pet Dog Trainers Australia APDT are dedicated to force free training methods
š¶Pet Professional Guild Australia PPGA advocate for force free training and pet care
We are mortified by the public announcement the š Pet Dog Trainers of Australia PDTA have made supporting punishment and painful tools and are disappointed in those who support them.
āWhy would they support prong collars, check chains, e-collars, sq**rt bottles, loud noises, high pitch noises, anything that is used to inflict pain, fear, intimidation, intended discomfort or punishment when they arenāt necessary? The use of these things is a facade for ego, power and control. They are old fashioned and times have changed.
There is an alternative that works and works effectively so why continue choosing these adversive methods and tools?
ā
There is a better way.
Itās ok to change.
Itās ok ditch this and choose force free and fear free instead - because the evidence is there that it works, so why still choose to do the wrong thing.
We are very grateful for Doggie Drawings by Lili Chin for her amazing artwork and advocacy for the weflare and treatment of all animals (including humans) we appreciate you š§”
