🐾 POV: You walk into Dogs R Us on a Saturday… 😂✂️

😭 One little boy is having a full emotional breakdown because his groom is FINISHED and apparently Mum should have teleported here already.

🚪 The door opens…

📢 WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF!

Our self-appointed receptionist would like everyone to know that SOMEONE HAS ENTERED THE BUILDING.

🚿 Meanwhile, from the bathroom…

🎶 AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The Husky has begun performing the song of her people. Nobody requested it. The concert continues anyway. 😂

🐭 Then you look over at a couple of our other dogs…

Absolute silence.

Haven’t moved.

Haven’t made a sound.

We’re actually questioning whether they’re still here. 😂

Throw in dryers blasting, clippers buzzing, fur flying and that ONE bark that starts a salon-wide group discussion…

💜 Yep. Just another perfectly normal Saturday at Dogs R Us Grooming Gracemere.

Different personalities. Different levels of drama.
And somehow… we love every minute of it. 😂🐾✂️

💜 A little note about payments & supporting small business 💜

With the changes around EFTPOS/card surcharges, small businesses like ours will now need to absorb the cost of card transaction fees rather than passing them on.

While each fee might only seem small, across hundreds of appointments they quickly add up to a significant extra expense for a small business.

🐾 EFTPOS will of course still be available, but where possible, cash or bank transfer is greatly appreciated and is our preferred method of payment.

Alternatively, if you’d prefer to pay electronically, simply ask us to send you a secure payment link through our Goldie booking system and you can pay directly from your phone. 📱

Every little saving helps us manage the ever-increasing costs of running our salon and helps us continue keeping our grooming prices as reasonable as possible.

There’s absolutely no pressure — we simply wanted our clients to know that how you choose to pay can make a surprisingly big difference to a small local business. 💜🐶

Thank you for continuing to support Dogs R Us Grooming Gracemere. 🐾✂️

A huge thank you to everyone for bearing with us last week! 💜🐾 We were a few team members down, but we made it through! 😂

We really appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding and continued support while we did our best to keep all our fur babies looking fabulous. 🐶✂️

📣 A little reminder from your VERY busy groomers… 😅🐾

We absolutely hate having to say “Sorry, we’re fully booked!” — but lately, we’re saying it a LOT.

If your fur baby needs grooming every 4, 6 or 8 weeks, reoccurring bookings are your best friend! 💜

Booking ahead means:
🐾 Your preferred grooming schedule is already sorted
🐾 Less scrambling around trying to find a last-minute appointment
🐾 No disappointed puppy eyes when we simply can’t squeeze another dog into an already full day 👀
🐾 You can plan ahead knowing your spot is secured

We LOVE that Dogs R Us Grooming Gracemere is so busy, but unfortunately “Can you fit me in this week?” doesn’t magically create more hours in the week 😂🙈

Our regular clients who book their appointments ahead are already securing future spots — so if you know your dog will need grooming again, please don’t wait until they’re overdue to book.

A little planning now = a lot less disappointment later. 💜🐶✂️

Recurring bookings = one less thing to remember and one guaranteed pamper date in the diary!

💦🐾 Happy hydrated pups = happier days! 🐾💦

With the weather warming up, it’s a good time to remember that our furry friends can feel the heat too! ☀️

Keep fresh, clean water available, take water along on adventures, give them plenty of shady breaks and avoid overdoing it on hot days. 🐶💜

And don’t forget — a fresh groom can help keep your pup feeling clean, comfortable and ready for spring! ✂️🐾

☀️🐾 IMPORTANT PICK-UP REMINDER 🐾☀️

With the warmer weather on its way, we’d like to remind everyone about our pick-up times after grooming.

📱 Once you receive your pick-up text, we ask that your fur baby is collected within 30 minutes, unless a later pick-up time has been arranged with us beforehand.

Coming into summer, this is especially important! 🌡️🐶

We need to keep space available for the dogs arriving for their following appointments and make sure our salon stays comfortable, calm and safe for everyone. Having extra dogs waiting for extended periods can quickly limit the space we have available.

We completely understand that things happen and sometimes you may need a little longer — just let us know beforehand and we can arrange a later pick-up time where possible. 💜

Our priority will always be the comfort and welfare of every dog in our care. 🐾

Thank you for helping us keep the salon running smoothly and comfortably as we head into the warmer months!
