Our sheep Optiweigh arrived in Taralga last week to assist with the demonstration of a precision feeding approach for twin bearing ewes. We’ll use the Optiweigh to monitor mob performance and ewe condition and adjust feed accordingly. This is part of a joint project with farming systems groups in NSW and VIC, supported by the Australian Government through funding from the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program under the Natural Heritage Trust.

🌱 Interested in the dollars behind Open Woodland Restoration?
Regen Farmers Mutual are hosting their next webinar on the 30th April — this time with a strong focus on the financial side of Open Woodland Restoration.
If you joined the first 2 sessions (or meant to), this is a great follow-up to better understand:
✔️ Financial returns
✔️ Market opportunities
✔️ Costs involved
✔️ Support mechanisms available

We ask the question: What is it worth? with Open Woodland Restoration. The answers must include an economically sensible outcome for landholders.
