An Update from Divine K9's ❤️🐾
I have been so excited to get back to doing what I love. After many months of pain and rehabilitation, I recently did a little test run back at work, hoping I was finally ready. Unfortunately, it quickly became clear that I wasn't.
Since then, I've finally received an official diagnosis of a spinal disc tear and sacroiliitis. While it's a relief to finally have answers, it also means I won't be returning to grooming for a little while longer.
To be honest, this has been one of the hardest challenges I've ever faced. Not only have I had to put my dream job on hold, but my injuries have also taken away so many precious moments with my little boy. I can't lift him, cuddle him the way I want to, or dance around the house with him without risking further injury. Those are the moments I miss the most.
The one thing that keeps me going is knowing that it's me going through this and not him. I would take this pain a thousand times over if it meant he could keep smiling, laughing, and growing into the happy little boy he is. ❤️
Now that we finally know what's causing all of this, I'm hopeful I can begin the right treatment and rehabilitation. It won't be a quick journey, but I'm determined to do everything I can to heal and, one day, return to the job I love and the wonderful dogs I've missed so much.
To all of my amazing clients—thank you. Thank you for your patience, your understanding, your kind messages, and your continued support. It means more to me than you'll ever know.
I truly can't wait for the day I can welcome you and your beautiful pups back through my doors.
Until then, thank you furry much for sticking by me. ❤️🐾
